  • @Jimb376mfp I am so sorry. What a rough week!
  • @HarperAnn6 I don't feel... steady.. enough in my maintenance yet, and may never do so because of my compulsive eating, to say, "do this." However, for myself I eat even tinier snacks/meals throughout the day and up my steps/exercise to carve out a deficit to get things back under control. (Ditching sauces, one cup of…
  • @mk2fit I have similar issues. My digestive issues can change my waist size drastically even as my weight looks steady. I have managed to truly gain some fat at times because I gave myself a pass on the belly size thanks to the scale number. Ah, well. I know my maintenance numbers, more or less. Need to give more weight to…
  • @juliemargaretkim Your clothes fit despite weight gain? Unless you have an obvious new muffin top, I wouldn't do a cut. You earned that muscle, and dieting down a few pounds just to hit a number for the number's sake doesn't seem worth it to me. Trust the clothes more than the scale!
  • @kgirlhart We all have those feeling fat days! You rock for making and meeting your running goals. Good luck on that half-marathon!

  • Thank you, everyone, for the one year of maintenance celebration!! How did I not even notice that?? LOL @sofchak I can't thank you enough for your kind words! *hug"
  • Happened to me. Used to be a 32DD as a young woman, and now struggle to fill a C cup. But I have been through menopause, and I feel that has as much as anything to do with the cup size change as losing weight in the past just put me back at 32DD.

  • I walked and dieted away 150lbs. Walking helped a bunch, but maintaining a deficit doesn't require exercise. I just prefer to eat more, so keep walking so that I can have more than 1200 cals a day.

  • Pb on a caramel rice cake or Graham cracker, in Greek yogurt, in oatmeal with chocolate and pb chips. (Pb2 is a part of these mixes as well.) Oh, and English muffins with pb and Choc chips, or pb and bacon. Yum!
  • Thanks, @fidangul! Here's hoping for a better April for us both!
  • @bananasandoranges I hear that! Good prep work makes a huge difference.
  • @pkweier I hear that on the mini candies. For me it's my chocolate/ white chocolate/ pb chips. Funny how a few from the bag seem to miss the scale on the way to my mouth!
  • @ryenday Ouch! Hope that ear infection goes away soon! How do you feel about elliptical or stair climber time?
  • @psychod787 Sounds like you are rocking it! *high five*
  • @Rachelmilloy Sure! I do a lot of nut butter and Nutella yogurts. They are more like frosting than yogurt, tho, and I keep them tiny to save cals. I get the dannon light n fit greek yogurts. I use coconut for chocolate ones (or for coconut almond butter straight up,) and banana, vanilla, or toasted marshmallow for peanut…
  • Stayed strong as far as the buffet. Skipped the lasagna and bread sticks and just added my Dijon vinaigrette and chicken to a salad. Tried one bite of brownie, but wasn't as good as my cashew coconut dark chocolate yogurt. Also skipped the croissanwiches at breakfast, along w blueberry and oatmeal bars. However, I did…
  • Use a mini-naan for the base, top with your faves. (I love white pizza with grilled or roasted veggies, and sometimes I add bacon bits). Pair with a big field greens, cucumber, and red onion salad with light dressing and you can have a super yummy meal for under 400-500 cals (or even less.)…

  • @psychod787 Actually, I have an addiction to potassium salt substitute and a tendency to drink up to a gallon of fluids some days. That's enough to screw with my sodium balance. Happens to me every few months or so, though it's been a good while since the last time and it caught me by surprise when I got so tired this past…
  • Snow shoeing is awesome. I plan to tramp around the playground on mine during my recess duty. :D

  • Accuracy is debatable. I did ancestry.com's kit, but since my family is big into genealogy, there were no surprise additions. I did get surprised by the lack of some family tree twigs not showing up in me, but no one gets dna from all of their twigs. (None of my German and relatively little of my various Celtic strains…
  • I work in a school, too. I'm set for sedentary, however because my Fitbit lies I can't use MFP as a neat system, so it's ultimately irrelevant for me. Data from using my Fitbit and MFP during my weight loss gave me a rough idea of step correlation to caloric needs, and I'm refining it from there.
  • Thanks, Ruthee! Yes, I didn't know it at the time but I started going through the change in my mid-30s and finished in the last year or two. (Thought it was mostly just unstable bipolar issues.)
