Bless you for resizing! And thanks for reassuring me!

I love my Fitbit, simply for the fact that I can clip it to my pants or bra and nobody knows about it. No chest bands, big watches, armbands, etc. I was stalling on my weight loss but have lost nearly 10lbs in the month since I got it!

My twin boys are 21 months, and now they're keeping me active enough to help get the weight off. ;) I too have mostly been overweight my whole adult life, other than anorexia taking me down to 125 ten years ago. I'd love to get back to that weight in a healthy way now. I'm back at pre-baby weight (AGAIN, lost it in the…

I'm 5'2.5" (if that extra half an inch matters). I started MFP last summer at a post-partum (twins) weight at 193 and got down 20lbs by November. Then I injured my knee and put it all back on with depressed chocolate binges and inactivity. :( Booooo! I started to get my act back in shape in April, but I was stalling for a…

Thanks for all the inspiration, posters! You rock!

What you've accomplished so far is a huge inspiration and you should be damn proud of yourself. We all have those days/weeks/MONTHS sometimes where motivation slips and we start wondering why we should keep working so hard at this. But it's like hitting a wall in a marathon--you just have to keep going. Losing weight…

We have the same stats! Thanks for the motivation! Congratulations on all your success.

I got mine less than a month ago, and have dropped 8# since getting it (after plateauing or losing very slowly for months). It really encourages me to be more active, but it also makes a huge difference to me to really know what I'm burning (ergo how much I should be eating), instead of just guessing based on formulas.

Feel free to add me! I think by the time I reach my goal, I will have lost the weight of my twins as they are now! :)

Perhaps there's an assumption that you walk at a slower pace when pushing a stroller?

I'm a slow loser as well, and right now I'm about where I was eight months ago. What I lost from Aug-Nov 2011 was regained through injury and chocolate binges, but I learned a lot from it. I hate that I lost that time, but at the same time, I have to remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint. Progress is still…

Congratulations! Not only do you look amazing, but battling BED is tough, and it's clear that your strength and beauty aren't just on the outside. :)

I live near the Whitemud Creek Nature Preserve and adore it. I usually use the Brookview/Bulyea Heights trailhead and loop back up at Ogilvie Ridge. Or go up into Westbrook, or for a long run, head north to the river. Highly recommend it!

You're such an inspiration to me!

Feel free to friend me! I actually got the baby weight off after joining MFP last August, then regained it all after an injury. :( Now I'm close to getting back to ppw, but then I have another 40lbs that I need to lose on top of that! My twin boys are 21 months now, and I'm finding that running after them is definitely a…

LOL! FWIW I did bungee cord my twins together by their pant loops when they were about 18 months old, in a giant museum. At least that way they stayed together but could still walk independently! Hahahaha!

I have 21 month old twin boys who are VERY active, one of whom is incredibly stubborn. The other one will hold my hand when we walk somewhere, but the goat-child will not. Believe me, we constantly work on discipline and safety, but some kids at that age just don't think rationally. Their impulse control is not that great!…

I've also found that I had more back issues with DLs if I felt like I was "pulling it up" with my arms. When I focused on my heels on the ground and driving up with my legs, it felt like my arms were suddenly just holding the weight, not straining with it.

bump for inspiration! Thanks for reminding me that I CAN do this with time and dedication!

Fat free greek yoghurt, 1 cup of fresh berries (whatever I have on hand), 2 tbsp of Holy Crap (www.holycrap.ca), sometimes some All Bran buds and half a scoop of vanilla Muscle Milk powder. Almost a perfect macro 40/30/30 split and keeps me going forever! For the past twenty years I've had peanut butter on wheat toast for…

Hi friend! This has definitely happened to me a few (ahem: several) times, and one thing that's really helped me is to prelog my food for the next day. I find that after a few days of that my mind and body are back on track. I also find a relatively short-term goal to work towards, like a 5K in 6-8 weeks' time, and…

What a fantastic start!

My husband doesn't read fiction, but when we moved into our house six years ago, we moved LITERALLY 200 boxes of books. That's probably doubled now. We collect. :)
