Thank you!

I soak mine the night before in a traditional manner. 48g oats, 15g cultured buttermilk, 1/8 tsp salt, 4 oz water, soak for at least 12 hours before cook and add an additional 4 oz water once ready to cook. I can't eat them if I don't prepare them like this beforehand because they irritate my stomach if I just cook them…

Thank you!

I have 80+ to go. Feel free to add me. :)

Where do you buy one of those? It sounds like fun if you don't over do it the first few times.

I've been eating Primal since the beginning of January, so no wheat, legumes, refined sugar, or processed frankenfoods (still eating dairy, limited raw sugars like honey, occasional potatoes, rice, and rare instances of corn). I'm still having minor flares (specifically two cysts beginning of last week and one very small…

50/25/25, but I just started about a week ago, so I know there will be eventually be some changes. I am loving not being hungry all day!

I weigh about the same as you right now and I've LOST almost 60 pounds by eating only 500 cals less than I burn every day. Burning 2800 cals in any given day is actually really easy for me and that's just with some serious grocery shopping (and I am NOT a weight lifting man), not even with any hardcore exercise (I don't…

I've had mine for about a year and I LOVE it. It's been great for figuring out my TDEE which I had severely underestimated at the beginning of this journey (guessed at 1800, fitbit said more like 2600). From the sounds of it, you are probably underestimating yours still...and I'm basing that off of what I thought was…

I added you all!

I think doing a reset sounds like a good idea if you've stalled out Candice. And this time stick with it.....I know how HARD that is. You want to cry, scream, pull your hair out, punch a wall....but it is soooo worth it once your body finally gets with the program and starts realizing that you are not starving it. And I…

Holley you ARE amazing! You are a big part of my daily inspiration!

I'm the same...not lactose intolerant, but whey protein made me blow up like a balloon. Hubby ended up tossing the rest of my powder lol...he didn't like seeing me so miserable or looking six months pregnant everyday after drinking my shake. I felt fine a few days later with no bloat. I've decided to do without the protein…

I read somewhere that fixing metabolic damage can take anywhere from 2 to 12 months. It all depends on the individual. Perhaps you do need a longer reset as Holley has suggested.

I checked it out from the library, read it, took the test. I'm supposed to be a carbo-type...overwhelmingly so. And I WAS kind of buying into it.....so I started eating more carbs and a little less protein as I had been feeling that protein heavy meals were making me sleepy.....but then my weight loss stalled. However....I…

I started second guessing whether I had everything set up right. I need to stop reading so much in the forums....it's a good way to make your head go to pieces.

Ditto this question please. I have my MFP set to active....which gives me 2700 in overall daily activity burn. I have fitbit linked and on average I burn about 2700 a day.....I am not doing anything more than making sure I walk enough to hit my 2700 burn for the day. So I am letting fitbit make the minor adjustments for me…

High Intensity Interval Training....and I know no more about it than the OP.

I never went to TDEE, but have gradually worked up to my cut number. I made sure to stay at each jump in calories for about 2 weeks before moving onto the next increase. Every time though, I experienced a speeded up version of the side effects people tend to get - stuffed, starving, fatigue, stability, and finally a small…

I eat 2000 everyday and burn about 2600 a day per my fitbit.....losing and loving the fact that I don't have to starve in order to do it.
-
Yep....cook with it! As soon as my "totally adulterated extra virgin olive oil that failed the cold test" is gone, organic coconut oil will be the only cooking oil in the house. It's also fantastic for cosmetic uses too....love the stuff! I love the small burst of coconut scent right when you stick it in a hot…

Once a month for me.

Not me...not yet. Just cardio and lots of running up and down the stairs here in the house. I've still lost 5 pounds so far doing EM2WL....and still going!

Cinnamon Rollsssssssssss!!!! Yummy. ;P

A lot of people enter their exercise, but manually change the calorie expenditure to 1 and then enter the actual burn in the exercise notes.
-
I think it all depends on how fit you are and how big you are. For me, still huge, I can also burn that much during one of her videos, with my HRM, if I really dig into it. The hand weights and the arm moves are what really shoot your heart rate sky high and have you pouring buckets of sweat. The fitter you get, the easier…

Chin up sweetie....I tend to lose more the morning after a rest day, even eating that same amount that I eat on non-rest days. You are not sabotaging yourself........just giving your body the steady signal that it will be fed and fed consistently.
-
I tried to do it that way....with the net cals and eating back exercise cals, but come rest day, I just about died of hunger. So I just eat the same amount every day......and I am still losing....even on rest days.
-
Yes, it does. The bigger you are, the more you burn...same for me right now too. The burns will decrease as you become more fit. Enjoy the high burns while you have them!
-
See, for me, because I am still obese, my burns are higher than average. Even though my time exercising puts me into the "light" category, my actual burns bump me up into the "moderate" category....and rather than half to worry about netting below my BMR as I was doing on the "light" (and having to figure out how many more…
