Omg totally! If I reach for something, say a piece of cake or chocolate that fits into my calories, and someone says, I thought you were on a diet? Big pet peeve. I just ran 5 miles *kitten*!!!

When I make scrambled eggs, I put about 1/4 cup of cottage cheese in. It makes the eggs fluffy!

I have a thyroid condition. I have to really watch my food intake. If I don't, I get fat. I take my medication like I am supposed to and exercise. I try to even forget I have it, so I don't use it as an excuse. I know that the right foods and staying active will make me feel better. I have to just stay consistent.

I work in an elementary school, so there is never any shortage of sweets, cakes, and treats. I tell people that too much sugar gives me a headache. I even tell the kids that when they are sweet and offer me sweets. (So now they bring me apples from the cafeteria - so cute). Plus if it helps, imagine someone picking boogers…

Maybe you could buy the individual packs of those things. I think an individual pack of trail mix would be about 100-200 calories.

You should try the recipe feature. I use it all the time because I'm always cooking.

I am aware that my calorie counts may not be that accurate. I do measure my food as far as quantity (like a cup of this, a tbsp of that, ect.) but I do not weigh my food. Counting calories kind of gives me a cut off point. Like when I go for some cookies, I know that three is better than six. And at the end of the day I don't go rummaging around in the kitchen to eat again if I'm at my cut off.:drinker:
