  • I'm better of without it. I am one of 'those'. When I drank I also ate. In the past I tracked my food & drink just to see. Scary. 1600 calories of alcohol + 2400 calories of food = 4000 calories a day. If only I was a hard working lumberjack! Oh well. One was too many / 10 wasn't enough.
  • Started my changes June 1st, but MFP 50 days 32 lbs. 12% body fat loss.
  • After 34 years of running & getting injured & sick & having other setbacks I have finally found my niche. However, it is obsessive because I have particular goals. Since summer started this year I've been averaging about 12 workouts a week of about an hour each. I run & bike ride. I have not enough come close to adapting…
  • With my workout schedule I could care less about protein. For my I can never get enough high quality complex carbs. If you use them they never convert to fat. Burn it up. To much protein is rough on the kidneys.
  • Hot Air Popcorn sprayed with Butter Pam. Stand and spray while rotating the bowl as the popcorn comes out. Thorough spraying ensures the salt sticks. High fiber, crunch, salt & volume. Healthy additions are 1/8-1/4 cup raisins &/or peanuts. Yes they are sugar/fat but that sustains me too. Dates. 2-4 each. Idea, split dates…

  • ___________________ Crustless Pumpkin Pie Recipe: Your favorite Method: Either eat the pumpkin & discard the crust or baked in a water bath so it doesn't burn. No whipped cream for me. One good garnish baked internally is pecans. ___________________ Pumpkin Soup No recipe included, just whatever is your favorite.
  • BLACK Coffee everyday since I was at least 22.
  • Running with the only hindrance being my own endurance. Then being able to eat as many carbs as I want. Finally being sure that I couldn't do any more for my health & longevity but keep doing what I have been doing.
  • Any diet would have to provide me with enough energy to workout. I couldn't work out on that diet. Many years ago I was a 10 mile a day runner and for a medical research thing I went on an Atkins no carb diet. In two days I couldn't finish a 3 mile run. Enough said.
  • Yeah, I can scramble them country style (stir them around without beating them first) in a pan faster than micro-wave and the quality is much better. Nothing against microwaves, just certain foods are better in my opinion.
  • Coffee, Bananas, Dates, eggs, bran cereals, peanuts (butter)/ beans, pasta, tomato sauce, pizza, parmesan cheese
  • I only count water as water. Other beverages are in Food.
  • I don't always eat the exercise calories completely, but I always eat some of them. And I am/have lost weight. Exercise keeps that fire burning hot.
  • I don't like anything in my hands while running. Today I brought a 24 oz water bottle (1.5lbs) and that about drove me crazy. I think the weights in hand while running will affect your gait and could cause other unknown problems. For light weigh workouts without DVDs, how about (if you watch TV even for 15 minutes) doing…
