I finish 30DS tomorrow, and plan to start Butt Bible on Saturday. I've done levels 1 and 2 lower, just to check it out, and she is hilarious.

I used to use my kids and their needs as an excuse for why I didn't have time to exercise. I'm so very glad that I stopped doing that. My kids are 3 and 5, and I am married and WOTH full-time. I exercise first thing in the morning (5:30) and my kids generally sleep through it or wake up toward the end - but they just come…

Look at you! Awesome!

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, Pauline Nordin's Butt Bible. Pauline is hilarious. If anyone has done Jackie Warner, I'd love to hear a review.

Way to go, Nadine's sister! : )

I am up at 5:30 and usually working out within minutes of that. I feel energized and ready for the day, and I am sharper and more on the ball at work and at home. If I tried to work out after work, I would come up with a million excuses for other things I need to do, being too tired, etc. This way, I get up and get it done…

Maybe it is an issue of *what* you are eating, not your total calories. You have to think of your body as a high performance machine, and try to ensure that you give it the best possible fuel out there. I really don't mean this to be offensive, but if you think of Mc Donald's chicken strips as being "not *that* bad for…

I did it in August and am doing it again this month. I do 30 days, straight, no breaks. I did Bootcamp for a day between rounds of 30DS (boring!). For the poster who asked about weighted balls - you will not really be able to keep using them when you get to level 3 because there is a plank exercise that requires you to use…

Day 10, Level 1 done, with a side of Butt Bible Lower, Level 1 for good measure. Woot! Looking forward to the planks in Level 2. Burn it, Shredders! Those of you who are expressing concern about not losing weight yet - this is my second consecutive round of 30DS, and I found that the weight loss happened more toward the…

Done with Day 9, Level 1 (I am doing back to back 30DS, August and September) and I added in Level 1 Lower of the Butt Bible when I got done. Looking forward to the fun planks in Level 2 of 30DS. : )

I just kept pushing through when I was sore the first few days when I started 30DS. It gets better, for sure. I was achy, but it didn't hurt to do the exercises, if that makes sense. I lost around 6 pounds and just over 6 inches (3 from my waist alone). I thought I would give the Bootcamp workout a try when I finished…

I really wish I had taken a before picture, because I can feel and see that there have been some nice changes. Overall, I lost just under 6 pounds and 6.25 inches. I did measurements of my waist, hips, biceps and thighs. 3 of the inches were lost from my waist, and that makes me really happy. I considered taking today off…

Is it just me, or is anyone else having a hard time with the rock star move? I am not normally *that* uncoordinated, but I feel like it's just super awkward.

It adds the calories back because MFP already has a built in calorie deficit. If you use the search function, you will find a wealth of very useful information on this topic.

I'm also 43, but my children are 3 and 5. I started on MFP at the very end of April, and have lost 25 pounds (as of yesterday). Tracking what I eat, using MFP, has been the key to it for me. The first day that I did it, it was a real eye opener. Even healthy things had more calories in them than I had (wrongly) assumed. I…

Excellent, thank you for sharing!

You look familiar to me. Hee! Welcome, and congrats on your awesome success and determination, my friend. <3

Way to go!

Thanks, King, but I stand by my belief that clean eating will make your body a more efficient machine than what you have if you eat 1,200 calories of Doritos per day.

I took a peak at your food diary as well, and I completely agree with JustMichelleB. It's not just a matter of eating the correct number of calories in any given day, it's ensuring that the calories eaten are from healthy, balanced sources. I'd encourage you to take a hard look at what you eat, absent defense, and consider…
