Yayyy congrats everyone! I can't believe how much stronger and in shape I feel. I didn't have a lot of luck with losing weight or inches (probably due to my love for beer and my husband's new obsession with grilling steak). Unfortunately, my husband will be deploying soon.. But I'm looking forward to taking that time to…

I've been so busy the last couple days! I missed two days. I'm gonna add on a few days...

I woke up this morning and my back and neck and shoulders were just killing! And I had a bit of a headache.. SO I decided to take a rest day. I feel all gross and blaa now! I can't wait to do it tomorrow.. I guess that's a good thing! My shoulders sure did need a break though. :)

Wow! Great job! I'm not quite there yet, but getting closer everyday. I still do the sit ups modified... I can't do the regular sit ups without my feet under the couch. And the beginning of the last circuit I do as much as I can but I usually switch to the modified before it's over. I got through circuit 2's cardio without…

Very good idea to alternate! I want to get ripped in 30 and maybe alternate weeks or every couple days with the two DVDs. Perhaps that will help with the whole plateau thing since I'd be changing it up? I always just try to remember that the way I look and feel is more important than the number on the scale. Losing fat…

I know what ya mean! It's so hard to stay with your plans when people are influencing you otherwise. My husband loves to bring home good beer and order chinese food.. Its too exhausting to try to say no! Especially because he's being deployed in the Navy in a month... I have to indulge with him :) Unfortunately, though…

By that last cardio I'm trying so hard to keep the sweat from getting in my eyes. The whole thing is hard! I really feel like I'm getting a better workout than I was spending an hour in the gym. My back and shoulders are SO sore! Its great... I feel so much stronger!
-
I just finished and I am dripping sweat! I definitely felt a lot more soreness this morning than I did after the first day of level 2. My back and shoulders are getting worked! My elbows are hurting from doing some of the moves on the carpet. I definitely like level 2 more than 3 :)

Oh my! Just finished level 3... it definitely works some muscles I'm not used to working. I think i like it! I feel like it's going to make me feel really strong, especially in my back. My knees are starting to hurt so I'm trying to modify for low impact. Level 3 definitely has some tough moves!
-
Oh yes! Definitely ready for some new moves! I feel like level 2 went by much faster than level 1. Hopefully level 3 will be even faster!

Yesterday I woke up feeling sick, but did it anyway. I had to stop because I was feeling so ill. I made it to the third circuit though. Hopefully today goes better!

Forgot to post yesterday but I did it! The squat row and V fly are KILLER for me!! I can handle the rest. I like the cardio much better than level 1... I hate jumping. There sure is a lot of planking, but I feel like its really making my core stronger. I don't feel like I look much different or weigh any different but I do…

My husband did it with me today! I made him take the weights when I got tired :P Probably didn't get as good of a work out as when I'm alone but it made it a little more fun. The strength training is much harder for me than level one. Now that I'm getting the hang of it I think I'll be turning down Jillian and puttin on…

WOW level 2 has me SWEATING. I like it though. I like the variety in cardio. I was definitely sick of just jumping. I like the push ups! I can actually do them! Anyone else notice how she likes to say two more, then pause while you do another one or two then start counting down? I'm liking it...hoping to see some results…

After two days off from being sick, today killed! I also upped my weights to 6 lbs. I'm still doing modified push ups because I feel like I have better form and can do more... I think I'd rather do 20 modified full out push ups than maybe 10 bad ones. Excited/ dreading level 2! I hear it's really hard, but I'm definitely…

I felt like I was getting the flu, so I skipped day 8. I feel much better today so I'm gonna grab my 6 lb weights and make up for yesterday!
-
Woops, forgot to update ya'll on my day 6! I did do it yesterday! My husband decided to watch instead of joining me.. I definitely couldn't cheat with him watching :) I think I'm ready for Level 2! I'm going to try it tomorrow. Today is my rest day :)

Still going very well! Knowing its only 20 minutes helps motivate me and I feel so good after. I'm definitely feeling much stronger than day one. So far so good! I'm in an apartment on the second floor and so nervous that I'm annoying the people below me with all the jumping! Oh well, it's only a few minutes a day. :)

I think I'll be taking Sundays off. My husband has agreed to do it with me on Saturdays, but we decided we needed one day to sleep in and rest and just take a break from everything. Having the one day to look forward to helps me stay motivated throughout the week. I'm going to add on the days at the end so I will still do…

Getting a little easier everyday! But hating Jillian's voice a little more everyday, too! I took the advice of putting music on to avoid listening to Jillian say the same thing everyday- Very helpful! Made it go by a little faster and me less focused on when each exercise was going to end. Still love the workout!
-
I'd just like to feel stronger and more confident. I'm hoping at the end I feel healthier and better in my body. A few inches wouldn't hurt either ;)
-
Anyone know of a place to get some hand weights that's inexpensive?
-
My day 2 was a little easier than day one with the cardio and keeping up, but my legs were so darn sore that the strength training was so painful!

Hi all! I started the 30 Day Shred on Friday.. love it! My husband and I are terrible together- eating whatever and drinking beer. I need some healthy support and motivation :) It seems like people are getting great results from this DVD so I'm ready to join in! Hoping to get a head start on getting in shape before the…

I just bought it yesterday after much research and did my first workout today. So far I love it! I usually get kind of bored with work out videos but this one is engaging and difficult and definitely forces you to get a good workout in only 20 minutes. I did a lot of research online before buying it and people seem to…
