  • I made a turkey chilli with quinoa that other night - LOVED IT MSG me if you are interested
  • it is tough - I made it through one workout and that was enough for me! I will try again in a few months when I am in better shape
  • I turn mine off when I get in my car - by that time my heart rate is back down to normal
  • I honestly don't pay that much attention to my NET CALORIES - there are days that I will eat 1400-1600 calories but then have a 800 calorie burn at the gym leaving me with a NET of 600-800 calories and I am totally fine with that. I have eaten well over the recommended 1200 I feel good and I had a great workout. I say if…
  • Same things happened to me - I was at a plateau for 16 days then dropped 2 pounds - thought it was a fluke but weighed myself again this morning and I was the same! Sorry can't help explain it but the same thing happened to me and I will take it :-)
  • I do amateur photography mainly of children, couples, and my dogs and I used a Nikon D90 - I used to use a Nikon D60 but upgraded to the D90 when my dad upgraded his :-) It is easy to use and I get great results! Good luck - photography is a lot of fun!!
  • I have considered trying a low calorie diet for a week or two just to see if it helps - in the beginning when I ate too little I gained BUT that was 68 pounds ago and my body has changed A LOT!! I think I am going to give it a try! As for snacking I am not a big snacker it seems to make me more hungry but that might be an…
  • I have the Polar FT7 LOVE IT!
  • I lose on average 10 pounds a month some weeks I lose a pound some weeks I lose 3 just depends on how much exercise I got in how my eating was and if I ate anything high in sodium before a weigh in. Your body is going to lose what it wants there is no real plan to make you lose more. Also the more you have to lose the…
  • I am a freak and weigh myself several times a day - I like to see the fluctuation but I don't stress about weight gain because I know there is ZERO possibility that I actually gained anything with the way I exercise and eat right. I just like to know where I am during the day and that helps me change up my food…
  • I am 5'10 and weigh 208 and am in a size 16 When I was at my biggest I was 270 and was in the process of going from a 22 to a 24 but I starting working out before I was really in need of a 24 but my 22's were tight It took almost 40 pounds before I started seeing my size change - but I agree body type has A LOT to do with…
  • Awesome Job!! I just got a new wedding ring and I went down 2 sizes 9.5 to 7.5 and now that is getting a little big - I know exactly how you are feeling! ENJOY it!
  • skinnytaste.com is the best place to get healthy recipes. Some are more complex than others but I make her meals 2-3 times a week and have liked every one of them! Good luck!
  • You should really lift before you do cardio - unless you are just warming up! So once I do my 25-30 minutes of weights I do 45 minutes on the arc trainer and then 30 minutes on the stair stepper. When I notice that my calorie burn is going down I usually increase the resistance, or I use the treadmill on interval and get a…
  • Eat more! I promise you it will help you lose weight!
  • LOVE my Polar FT7
  • maintain - unless you ate 3500 calories yesterday it is probably just water weight
  • Here is mine and I love it - super simple! 4 - 6 bell peppers (we prefer red) 1 package ground turkey (we get ours from costco) 1/2 small onion 3tsp minced garlic 1 1/2 cup instant rice (white or brown) 2 cans tomato sauce corn (if desired) clean bell pepper - boil for 10 minutes cook turkey with onion and garlic - cook…
  • on average how many calories are you consuming a day?
  • I rarely ever wear makeup and if I do it is a light foundation (mineral) and some blush. I had laser eye surgery abour 4 years ago and don't like things on my eyes. The only time I wear it though is if I have some acne or I have a meeting and want to feel more professional. My husband doesn't like it and I could care less…
  • I weigh everyday and if I lose I record it, if I gain or stay the same I don't. I find it keeps me more motivated to keep moving in the right direction and if I have a gain (which is usually just water weight) I just adjust what I ate the day before so I don't do it again.
  • When I did it I averaged 200 calories burned per workout - that is for a women who is 5'10'' and 230lbs who works out 2 hours a day 6 days a week so if you are in better shape than me I would assume you would lose less and worse shape I would assume a little more
  • I am addicted to shopping so I have purchased A LOT more than I should have - but I am doing my first big new clothes shopping once I hit 50 lbs lost - I am a teacher and need new clothes to go back to work with so I figure 50 lbs should happen right around the first day of school so it is a double bonus!! If you need new…
  • Everytime I make a recipe I put it in the recipe maker on here! I have found that a lot of cook books say one thing but when I plug it in shows something else (calorie wise) so I track everything on here before I even make it - that way I know exactly what I am putting into my body! It is time consuming but totally worth…
  • I know how frustrated you feel! I can flucuate up to 5 lbs throughout the day - so I try and do it the same time every day that I weigh. Keep up the good work - even if you didn't lose pounds did you notice your clothes fitting better? Sometimes inches show before weight loss!! GOOD LUCK!
  • I am from Spokane!!
  • I work out 6 days a week - I force myself to take 1 day off or else I would probably go everyday! Do what feels good for you!
  • Good Luck! I am going in April of next year - totally excited to have dropped 100 lbs before then!!
