I agree with everyone else, even when I have a head cold (or a sinus infection which I get often) I still get up and at least take my dogs for a walk. I hate shin splints so much! I get them often and they suck majorly. I am normally out of commission for running, jogging and walking for about a week. Like the posters above me said, rest will make them better and do upper body or swimming workouts during your rest period. <3 Hope they get to feeling better!

Drinking water on an empty stomach is the number 1 cause of acid reflux for me, followed closely by excessive coffee on an empty stomach, I start to get sick or nauseous too. Keep some Tums with you or a banana or granola bar. Drink slowly, make that 32oz water last a while. <3

I weighed myself yesterday but wasn't able to post because I was at a rock concert!!!! Week 2 - 264lbs (I went up, its my girl time of the month, I have been known to retain as much as 15lbs in water weight during this time so I am not discouraged. It will be much better next week)
