Oh wow - MFP just might be highly addicting. Talk about instant gratification! (And instant accountability). Thanks for the feedback and great advice. Time to fiddle with the settings, look at the food diaries of successful folks, and figure out my TDEE. 8 pounds may not sound like much, but it's part of a bigger picture…

Hi, I'm new to MFP and have over 50 pounds to lose. They keep saying weightloss is better, easier, more successful when you do it with a friend, so maybe it's time to give this a try. The goal is to lose it by June 2015 - or just to lose it!
