Oh and I just read that nuts part.. so scratch the PB2 ha! sorry!

Everyone already posted about black beans, chickpeas, and nutritional yeast. (My three favorite by far!) Normally I'll also do kale, broccoli, and zucchini since they have a few grams of protein. I also just started including protein powders with my PB2 smoothie in the morning... I just bought Garden of Life Raw Fit coffee…

I'm vegan, but I struggle with protein too. I'm not sure if you can have PB2 in your house with a nut allergy but it's been helping... I add it to everything. I also use nutritional yeast in place of cheese and it has a lot of protein. I recently just bough Jarrow's protein powder to add to smoothies (15 grams!) I don't…

I'll add you :) I totally know how that feels. My fiancé, toddler, and I are the only IRL people I know who are vegan... it gets frustrating sometimes.

Totally! My whole family doesn't get sick (very rare if ever). My toddler has NEVER been sick and he's always been vegan :) I used to get sick constantly... now just the occasional sinus head cold. It's amazing.

I have this problem often. I save enough calories for 1/2 ounce of raw almonds and an 8 oz glass of coconut or almond milk. I have them a few hours after dinner and this seems to be doing the trick. If I still want to eat.. I do the herbal tea thing, chug water... or just get on here at night ;) It usually really helps!…

Yay I hope you like them, this recipe serves 6 and is about 161 cals per 2 corn tortilla tacos (then add in your corn tortillas and sriracha sauce - or whatever, I just really like the flavors together.) I also added in 2 medium zuchs and it added some more protein, yum!

Kale Tacos 1/2 cup cooked chick peas 1 cup cooked brown rice 1 bundle of kale (stems removed and chopped) 2 heads of broccoli (chopped), about 4 cups 3 to 5 green onions 1 to 2 Tbs Nutritional yeast 2 to 3 Tbs Coconut aminos or soy sauce 2 Tbs of coconut oil or olive oil 2 tsp garlic powder (or fresh garlic) Corn tortillas…

I like to put zucchini, kale, and broccoli in corn tortillas or over rice (sauté with coconut aminos, nutritional yeast, and garlic). add some chickpeas for protein! yum! Also everything else mentioned... I love using the spiralizer for pasta, especially with avocado lemon sauce.

Hey there, semi-new to MFP (2 weeks in!) I just had my vegan 1 year anniversary August 5th! I'm also Wheat free due to allergies and we don't eat too much soy. My fiancé, myself, and my toddler are all vegan. We started as vegetarians and then my son was born 2 years ago with a severe dairy allergy. I started cooking dairy…

I eat a ton of fruits and veggies.. mostly raw, steamed, or roasted. I find that including a scoop of green powder (I personally use Garden of Life Perfect Food Chocolate flavor) with my peanut butter, coconut milk, and banana smoothie in the morning, that's a great start! Look into a greens powder or just throw in a bunch…
