I have two children - 8 and 2 (next month). I work 40 hrs April through Dec and 70+ Jan through April. I started April 29th and have dropped 54.4 to be exact. No tricks - just following MFP guidelines and excercising. The support here has been an important factor in my success as well.

Mine was originally private and then i opened it to friends. I definitely think it helped - I felt if i was not open and honest about my eating i was only hurting myself. This is part of the key to holding yourself accountable and getting to your goal - at least is has been for me! Good luck to you!

I absolutely have and it did work. I also zig zagged calories for a week and pushed out of a potential plateau. It is key to keep your body guessing as it will eventually get used to your healthy lifestyle.

I still have those yucky days - but overall i certainly feel much better - especialy knowing the long term effects i will gain (minus the weight :-) )

Same - I did WW and it took me 6 months to lose 20lbs and then i hit that plateau and never looked back. I have been here since May and lost 50lbs - the support here is amazing and i will be a lifer. The thing with WW is they dont assess points to fruits and veggies - but they all have calories so you could very easily go…
