What is your daily caloric goal??? Not how much do you actually eat but what is your goal? Stay as close to that figure as possible. I think when you are only consuming 1200 calories a day (most days right?) you are probably sending your still fragile body into starvation mode. I would suggest keeping you calories…

Wow I am intrigued!! I might have to give this a try!! Thanks!

I usually have about 1000 left for dinner, and depending on what time I eat dinner depends on whether or not I save some for a snack....My snack of choice is usually either popcorn or pretzels with some water.

That is an awesome victory!! For your weight loss goals, and emotional well being!! :D

I too am looking forward to the day where nothing in that store fits me but a bra!! I am sick of being PLUS size!! And that is why I am here!

I do, and once you start losing weight its that much easier to get pregnant, trust me lol as I now have 3 kids...Don't let it discourage you, let it motivate you!! Good luck!! Friend me if you'd like

Reset your goals...instead of losing 1 or 2 lbs a week, it has an option that says to maintain current weight

Definiitely chicken breasts!! I eat them all the time, and I have different kinds...regular, tyson grilled and ready (these are good for a quick lunch and they are fully cooked and seasoned), chicken pattys, tenderloins, and bone in chicken breasts occasionally. I like eating quaker high fiber oatmeal for breakfast. My…

Your story is familiar to me, feel free to add me. I am a single mom of 3 kids, unemployed and trying to go to school as well as lose weight. I can be a good motivator because I have lots of motivation and determination. After everything I have been through, I deserve this more than anything and that's why I am doing this…

As long as you are consuming at least 1200 calories a day you should be ok, we don't have to eat back our exercise calories, I generally don't. I have lost 14lbs in 4 weeks.

I had this too, just the other day!! Its so gratifying when people notice our hard work!! Mine was another mother at my daughter's preschool, but it feels good when everyone else can see what we maybe can't see!! Congrats!!! :)

I do the same thing. For exercise I always take the lowest, and for food I take the highest if I can't find an exact match. I figure doing it that way is what is going to benefit me the most! :)

It stands for non scale victory!! It took me forever to figure it out too!! lol :)

Its expected to lose a lot in the beginning, but the healthy rate of weight loss is considered 2lbs per week, that is why its the maximum allowed! :)

I am pretty much in the same boat...full time mom, full time student, I have 92 to lose and I am currently down 11...you can friend me if you'd like, I am constantly on here because its my motivation!! <3 it!
-
I too am 5'7", but I have a lot more too lose than you, and I can't wait to get to where you are...isn't it so hard to believe what a difference 17lbs makes???? I am down 11 right now and I can tell a major difference in myself even though other people don't notice yet. You are a great inspiration!

You look fabulous!! I am jealous, but I hope to be there some day!! :D Congrats!

At Christmas time, my grandmother asked me if I was pregnant or if I was just really that fat.

I check my weight daily, but I only weigh in once a week. And I agree with what a lot of people are saying, when you do see the weight gain, its more rewarding when you see the loss when its all over.

Ok, first of all the doctor's you have talked to are quacks, because I have been on birth control since I hit puberty, and nothing makes my weight fluctuate like birth control. I have taken Lo esterine Fe before, and it did affect my weight. I gained 40lbs in 2 months, and considering I am already overweight, I didn't need…

I was 220 when I got pregnant with my first daughter. I had a good healthy pregnancy and everything went well. I think 180 is completely reasonable. Plus you need to give yourself the time to conceive. Its ok to try to conceive while dieting, and it actually increases your chances. To keep weight gain to a minimum, eat…
