I think the optimism multiplies. You do the right thing, and you feel optimistic. So you keep doing the right thing! Best of luck with it, you'll be great :)

I do always find it pretty confronting when I'm in this situation - what would I do if I found myself alone, for some reason or other? Not to say that that's a real fear, but it does say a lot about how I feel about myself. Thanks for bringing that up, something to ponder for sure... OH and I just had some soup. :-D

I think that's a great idea, Joanie! And McKayMachina, I love the hardass attitude. It's true. JFDI.

What pill is it? I'm on Yasmin, and I get PMS about a week and a half before my period, without fail. Great pill, as it has none of the side-effects of others, but the PMS thing is weird. Maybe it's just me...

Well, best of luck with it. 23lbs in 23 weeks sounds achievable, if your head's in the right space. Go for it!

It's just that - a cup of hot chocolate (I have the Jarrah Chocolatte, 45 cals when made with water) and 10 cherries. Eat and drink at the same time and it tastes like a cherry ripe! :)

That sounds great, Teresa! Thanks so much, please do pass on any of your favourite budget low-cal recipes, that'd be amazing. Swearing by pumpkin soup and damper at the moment, but partner's starting to get sick of it, haha. Poor dear. The food that man puts up with :) And 7lb, that's about 3.5kg, yeah? That's amazing!…

You'll have to be super-motivated - good luck!

Hi Cafeteriagirl, thanks for the welcome! I hope I do keep at it, I feel so guilty for having given up... I'll get onto food network and check out the recipes, thanks :)
