Aren't you that poster who had that picture of a cat shaped pizza? New account I assume? I recognize you due to the writing style being the same and you repeating what you always did in that account. On the contrary, I think she got a lot of useful advice. The first thing that should always be assessed is whether or not…

Ya, this is completely false. O.P. ignore this.

Thank you. :) I have everything but the spinach. I'm going to get some and try them out.

I just kick up into maintenance the week prior to mine. No sense fighting a losing battle, lol. I let myself eat a bit more because if I don't I will ending up binging and eating way over maintenance. And then there are some months where it's so bad that I just don't count calories for a day or two. It evens out because…

I eat Stouffer's dinners all the time, and I've lost 90 pounds. I don't eat the Lean Cuisine's either...I eat the regular Stouffers lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, potato bake, etc. They're nice when I need something fast/convenient. About the only frozen dinners I like. It's not what you eat, it's how much.

Congrats! I can't wait to join you. I am four pounds away. :D

Have you made these? I want to try them, but I find the recipe confusing. Do you use a mini muffin tin? If so, how do you have room for a whole slice of ham and the mixture to make up one muffin? After reading the comments and responses, it sounds like she uses a mini muffin tin because she said you can also use a standard…

No...not a hot dog fan. That doesn't even look appetizing. Now, put a cheese stuffed crust on that pizza and we're in business.

Well, I would see a red food as more of a trigger food. Carbs do not cause weight gain...a calorie surplus does. If you eat enough white bread, potatoes, etc. to exceed maintenance calories, then yes they will cause weight gain but not because they are carbs. ANY food will cause weight gain if eaten in excess. Probably the…

Weight loss is about eating at a deficit. Type of food does not matter in terms of losing weight as long as it fits within your calories. No one type of food will make you lose weight faster either. You can eat donuts all day, and as long as you are at a deficit you will lose at the same rate as you would if you ate those…

Actually, this sounds about right.

You cannot safely lose 5 pounds a week...not at your weight, and even IF you could chances are you would do it through a non-sustainable eating plan and would gain it back. You should not go below 1200 NET, which means you need to be eating back some or all of your exercise calories. Most recommend eating back about half…

Pizza...lots of pizza. Sometimes dipped in Ranch, lol. And sweets. I could eat an entire pan of brownies in one night.
-
And yet you are here being negative to others? Like someone else said, you might want to follow your own advice. Just a thought.

My friend had this problem and was diagnosed with celiac disease. Seriously, at some points she would look like she was 6 months pregnant from the bloat. I would recommend you see a doctor.
-
Crap, I think I would snap my legs in two trying that, lol.
-
The short answer is yes. You don't have to eat salads all the time or ever for that matter unless you want to. It's about calories in vs calories out. All you are required to do to lose weight is eat at a deficit. For example, yesterday I had lasagna, garlic bread, and some chocolate creme pie for supper and still came out…

Eating a small meal does make a difference. Weight fluctuates throughout the day. I typically weigh 4 to 5 pounds more in the evening. Also, were you wearing EXACTLY the same clothes?
-
I feel your pain, lol. Sounds like we're in basically the same boat like I said above. :/ We'll get there. :)

^^^This is SO me as well. I love MMOs. Lord of the Rings Online is my favorite, although I don't play it as much since they did a big revamp with the class system in the game. :( Still a great online game though. If you've never played before, you won't know the difference. Us long time players just know how great the game…

^^^This. How did you become overweight if you have trouble eating 1200 calories now? And I'm not sure why you're so focused on carbs, but it does seem like you certainly need more protein. As for calories, just eat more calorie dense foods like peanut butter. I believe someone has made a pretty comprehensive list on the…
-
You should be though. If nothing else, make sure you're getting enough protein, and don't skimp on the fat either. Fat doesn't make you fat, so don't fall into that way of thinking.

Maybe that's because most people here know that what you're doing isn't sustainable. Sure, you will lose weight now, but chances of you sticking to something so restrictive are very slim. Then you will gain your weight back. People here are simply trying to give you tips on a sustainable lifestyle so that you don't gain…

It amazes me how often this same question is asked...pretty much daily. O.P. just do a search for "cheat days", then you will be able to read tons of opinions on the subject.

7...and I've had 7 for a couple months, lol. I just can't seem to break the 200s. I've been circling around in the same 5 pounds all this time. I'll lose a couple, then gain a couple, then lose them again, lol. I'm basically maintaining, but I know it's my own fault as my eating has been slipping. Been under tremendous…

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the advice. I think you're right. I decided to schedule with her at least one more time and talk things over. If for nothing else, for some closure. That was one thing I didn't have with my other therapist as her symptoms came on suddenly and I never got a chance to talk to her again before…
-
That's a good point. My problem (an maybe part of why I'm in therapy, lol) is I'm a people pleaser. I always put people before myself in my life. I don't want to hurt or offend anyone I think because of the hurt I felt growing up that others put me through. It would be really hard for me to talk to her about this for those…

Thank you for the recommendation. :)
