As a person of course I would have still liked him, but it definitely made our connection stronger than it would have been if we hadn't had good sexual chemistry. My relationship with him was on a different level than it had been with anyone else. Just my experience. I know for some sex is not a big deal, but for me,…

78 pounds and counting....

Is it the only thing that keeps a relationship together? No. But it's a big part of it...at least for me. Sexual chemistry is important, and for me, it makes the relationship stronger. I've been in both really good and really bad relationships sexually speaking. One in particular was the best sexual relationship I had ever…

LOL...I had a guy friend say this to me once years ago. I started to say thank you and then was like wait...what? It sounded like a compliment but was covered by an insult, lol. Oh well.

Yes, but the point was that you used to be able to eat more than 800 calories a day, yes? You would have had to in order to have 78 extra pounds to lose. Posts like this always puzzle me I guess. I mean, I know how I got to be overweight. I ate a ton of calories per day. Cutting them back did not make me less hungry. So…

Not to be rude, but are you actually using the food log? Curious as to why your BF added them up rather than you keeping track of them in the food log. That's a pretty integral part of MFP. I would add some of the foods mentioned above, and then either prelog or log throughout the day so you know where you stand calorie…

I've lost nearly 80 pounds since last August, so yes. :) The key is to weigh and measure EVERYTHING, and make sure you are using correct database entries. Usually when people say calorie counting doesn't work for them, it's because they are doing one of those wrong. Also, don't restrict. Fit what you love into your…

26 pounds since January is not slow progress. Just keep doing what you're doing. It seems to be working so far.
-
Just eat at a calorie deficit, and you will lose. I lost a good part of my weight in the beginning without exercising at all. It's not necessary for weight loss.

Not to scare you, but bloating and fullness like that can be a sign of serious issues, like ovarian cancer. Like I said, I would get it checked, and if they rule out anything serious, then try some alternative things. Those kind of symptoms I wouldn't let go on too long though without being checked.
-
Go to the doctor. It could be any number of things, some serious, so you need to get it checked out.

Pot pies. I love them, but good grief they're a calorie bomb. I mean, I didn't expect them to be low in calories, but I never realized how high in calories they are either. I guess it's to be expected since most of it is pie crust, lol. I got one at Perkins once. When I checked the nutrition, it was over 1600 calories and…

I was eating them for a while, but I never fell in love with them like some people did. Some of the flavors were good. I liked the cookie dough and cookies and cream. The chocolate peanut butter was horrible in my opinion. I stopped eating them for two reasons. They're expensive, and I didn't really find them that filling.…

Wow, you look like a different person, especially with the darker hair. I honestly had to scroll back up a bit when I saw that last photo to see if that was you, lol. Excellent job. :)

This^^^. I don't know what it is, but whenever I hear the words "cheat meal" I get irritated. If you want something, just eat a regular portion of it and fit it into your calories. I just think that having a cheat meal is not a way to have a healthy relationship with food, but that's just me. I still eat what I love, but I…

Wow, now that's bad, lol. I thought I did bad yesterday with the mozzarella sticks from Arby's. They messed up our order and gave us mozzarella sticks, then told us to just keep them. :o I decided to have a couple. They were only about 105 calories each, but the sodium...422 mg for ONE stick. And they're not even that big.…

^^This. I eat sweets daily for exactly this reason. Cutting them out completely leads to failure for me. It's better to incorporate a serving of them into your daily calories. For me, this stopped the cycle of binging that I always used to fall into when I was trying to lose weight. Restriction just doesn't work.

I just eat Ranch. A tablespoon is only 55 calories. That's usually enough for me. Sometimes I used both Ranch and salsa. I used to put so much Ranch on my salad it looked like coleslaw, but those days are behind me. Just drizzling a tablespoon is enough for me now.

Have a serving of something sweet and fit it into your calories. If you're craving something specific eat it. That's what I always do.

Maybe a bit harsh but true. I guess I don't see the problem. So you ate some chocolate. It fit into your calories for the day so it shouldn't be a big deal. You are developing/maintaining an unhealthy relationship with food. You need to work on getting that in check or it will cause trouble down the road.

Oh, and of course...

Dylan McDermott, especially from his younger days. Yummmmy...

LOL...I have a 12 year old daughter thanks to this method. ;)

IUD...you can get a kind that contains no hormones called Paragard. Edit...I see someone already mentioned this with a good list of pros and cons. Still worth considering even with some of the cons. The worst for me was getting it put in. Not the best experience.
-
That poster did give you advice though. If you are concerned, see a doctor.
-
I guess I don't see the problem since you stayed within your calories. I agree with the others that say "food is food." You say you're worried about falling back into an unhealthy lifestyle, well part of staying on track and making a lifestyle change is changing your view of certain foods. When you see certain foods as…

Pretty much, yes. Still try my best to hit my macros though...especially my protein, but otherwise, I eat what I want as long as it fits in my calories. Since you're having trouble, are you making sure you are weighing and measuring ALL food you are eating, even prepackaged food? As the other person said, weight loss is…

...I choose to be. I've been single for about 13 years by choice. I haven't dated a single person in that time...or anything else, lol. Sometimes single is better. Maybe when my daughter is grown and out of the house I will consider it, but that is another 7 or 8 years away.

^^This. Getting rid of the guilt you have associated with certain foods would be your first step. No food is "bad" or worth feeling guilty over. I still eat everything I love, but I have learned portion control and moderation. This is the only thing that has ever worked for me. It does take practice at first as you are…

Eat what fits into your calories. You will get several asnwers for an "acceptable" snack as it really comes down to personal preference. And there really is no need to stop eating hours before bed unless you have a condition such as acid reflux that will flare at bedtime. Also no need to limit carbs before bed. I always…
