  • I bought some a while back. They were okay. The chocolate peanut butter one was disgusting though. I didn't mind the cookie dough and cookies and cream, but I quit eating them after I finished off the ones I bought to try. I just didn't like them enough to spend that much money on them. Plus, I didn't find them satiating.…
  • I think she came here to be told something she wants to hear to be honest, and everything that isn't what she wants to hear she labels as judgement. You hit the nail on the head with that comment.
  • OP, you obviously don't like the advice given here. I'm not sure what you want to hear, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. Everyone hears you, but no matter what is said you get defensive. Nobody is doing anything to take confidence from you. I'm really not sure where you're seeing this. It sounds like you are projecting…
  • You seem awfully defensive. I didn't really see any post here that warranted this kind of response. Honestly, this post is the rudest post in the thread. The others were just trying to give you advice. And if you really are eating that little and not losing, maybe you should consult a nutritionist or doctor. Chances are…
  • I agree with this. I think people saying they are food addicts is a way for them to rationalize their choice to overeat. And this is coming from someone who USED to believe in food addiction...I even used to label myself a food addict. Now I realize I was never addicted...it was an excuse I was making. That and the fact…
  • :o I love those, but I like mine filled with the white creme rather than custard. Yum. I got a donut the other day thinking it was creme filled, but it was fruit filled. So disappointing.
  • Oh, but they did. :D I'd like to try one just to see what it's like. Here's the article with instructions. http://greatideas.people.com/2015/04/13/bacon-fried-oreos-recipe/?xid=socialflow_facebook_peoplemag
  • And speaking of bacon, I saw these in an article today. Yes they are a real thing. Deep fat fried bacon wrapped oreos. Now, I love bacon, and I love Oreos...still not quite sure what to think of this.
  • I had one of these the other day. It was a little bit of heaven. Mine didn't have sprinkles though but had a ton more icing. It was soooo good.
  • I just eat Ranch dressing. Had some on a salad last night actually. I usually add a serving of Ranch and some salsa. There's nothing wrong with it. Just use portion control. I've lost over 80 pounds and have eaten Ranch during the whole process. I personally wouldn't give Ranch up, but that's just me.
  • I agree with the food scale recommendation. I think you will be surprised at a serving size. Not as much as you think...and definitely not rounded tablespoons.
  • I honestly don't remember my first kiss, lol. I'll have to give it more thought, but it's kind of strange that I don't. Not sure if that says something about him or me. :D Probably just says something about my age. And no, I haven't kissed a ton of men. Just wasn't memorable for whatever reason I guess.
  • Whatever floats your boat, but in my world, berries are no substitute for brownies. If I want a brownie, I'm going to have a brownie. As others have said, I eat what I want and fit it into my calories. Last night I had a salad I made at home with bacon, cheddar cheese, two eggs, crispy chicken strips, a boatload of baby…
  • LOL...reading through this post makes me feel like I'm wasting my time when I go out to intentionally walk for exercise. I usually take a 60 minute or so brisk walk, but apparently it doesn't count unless it's more than that. Okay...
  • I'm not really sure about the benefits for internal health, but I know for skin and hair care it's amazing. At least for me it has been. I have a lot of scarring on my arms from a skin condition I have. This oil has not only drastically faded my scars but also has helped my skin condition quite a bit...better than the…
  • Never heard of Dr. Bernstein. Seriously, people complicate this all too much. It's calories in/calories out. Eat at a deficit and you will lose. No need to cut carbs for a "jump start" unless you have a medical condition requiring you to eat less of them.
  • Two eggs, two pieces of bacon, and half a bagel with some grass fed butter.
  • Well, you could make the choice not to drink since you know it leads to binge eating...or at least cut back on the drinking. It's about the choices you make. Drink, binge and continue the road you are on now or cut back on the drinking. That's about it for your options.
  • LOL...Good example of why correlation does not always equal causation.
  • Yes, I find her irritating. I swear if we all followed her guidelines we would hardly be able to eat. I read a few things on her site a while back, but haven't been back in a long time. It was mostly for entertainment value because the arguments in the comment sections were hilarious. One mother got attacked and called an…
  • I've recently started eating Yasso bars. The look similar to the ones posted by annette_15, and they are so good. They have a lot of flavors, but my favorite are the salted caramel and cookie dough. Not sure if this is what you are looking for in terms of "healthy" but they are yummy and only 100 cals.
  • Same here, I range anywhere from 70 to 100 grams of fat per day. OP, 1270 calories seems awful low. As Mr. M said, you could lose weight on significantly more calories than that. I'm about 5 foot 8 and 214 pounds. My base calorie intake is just over 1600, and it's more than that if I exercise.

  • Eating pizza from places like Dominos is always going to be a crapshoot in terms of calories anyway. You never really know what you're getting. The best you can do is estimate. Even the calories they give you on the Dominos site is an estimate. There's no way they know that every slice of cheese pizza, even if the same…

  • Yup, this is pretty much what I do. I don't starting eating until around 11 a.m. or noon, and if I do eat before then, it's a very small amount. More like a snack. I save the majority of my calories for the evening, and I usually don't eat dinner until around 9 p.m. or sometimes 10 p.m. Then I go to bed within about an…
  • I had a McDonald's cheeseburger for lunch...just under 300 calories. I know, I know some people hate McDonalds, but I thought it was good. Haven't had one in a really long time, and I ran out of time this morning to make my lunch.
  • I eat what I'm craving and fit it into my calories. Once you no longer see certain foods as bad or forbidden, you won't be so tempted to binge on them. It's the only thing that works for me personally.
  • I was sick for a week last week. I lost 3 pounds also in that week. I gained it right back once I started eating regularly. I'm pretty sure mine was partly from being dehydrated. Plus, I also hadn't been able to eat hardly anything. Usually you gain the weight back once you start eating normally again.
