Sorry, I have to take my first Pass day - today was not a brilliant day. Didn't manage much exercise, just a quick nip outside with the dogs this morning and swapping over summer and cooler weather clothes this afternoon - unfortunately this has aggravated my back so haven't managed much else. Also a few (27) calories over…

Hi @imali1984 - here seems a good a place as any! Best of luck resisting the temptations and getting your exercise back on track (you know you want to....)

Hi all, I'm pleased to be part of this challenge. I live in rural SW France with my partner, 2 dogs and (sadly only now) 2 cats. I am aiming to get leaner and lose approx 20kg, but will review when I get close. I am following a low-carb regime as it seems to suit me. I also want to improve my fitness and flexibility. My…

Hi Kate, I also am English (originally from Derbyshire) and living in France. I am aiming to lose about 20 kilos - lost about 5 kilos in Jan/early Feb but then stalled due to visitors, new puppy & assorted other excuses (!) so am getting back on track for March. I am 61 btw. I will try and send a friend request, but I am…

Welcome, and so sorry for your loss. You have had some dreadful times, but you are taking back control and sounds like you are well on the way to turning things around. Dogs can be such a help when it comes to getting out and about! All the best from a fellow UK ex-pat (hate that term), but to France not Sweden. :)
-
I'm not finding it too bad - I was doing 5:2 for a while so 800 calls is better than 500! I generally eat most of my calories for dinner, with a light lunch or an apple earlier in the day. Living in France my main issues are bread, wine and cheese...
-
Hi Rosie, I am doing this at the moment (with some leeway for weekends!). Have you started yet? I am 60 yrs and aim to lose about another 20kg.
-
Hi Kat - I'm in a similar position to you! Feel free to add me if you wish (I've been doing this solo for a while).

Happy birthday @iwannabeonthebeach - enjoy your night out! :D First fast day of the week today - just black coffee and herb tea so far, with coconut prawn curry and brown rice for dinner. Hi to any Tuesday fasters, and enjoy your "feasts" to the rest.
-
Tell her to Foxtrot Oscar - you're doing great! The other mum's reaction was spot on, not even dignifying her cr*p with a reply.
-
Fast successfully completed and kitchen now closed until tomorrow.
-
Hi All! First fast day of the week here - just black coffee and fruit/herb tea so far, plus a 1hr Pilates session. Maybe some gardening later. Looking forward to Hairy Dieters' Chicken Tikka Masala and brown rice for dinner. Keep at it Karen, and all other Monday fasters!
-
Hi Beth, I'm here - and it counts for me! Mind you, I don't actually log water or coffee (black) or herb/fruit tea (also without milk). I'm a great believer in being guided by the colour of your pee (sorry, TMI).

2nd fast day of the week just completed, after a pretty dire month last month (horrible virus, too much wine ...). Glad to finally be feeling better and back into the groove! Great quote flumi.
-
Great advice - I keep meaning to start keeping a "journal" and you have convinced me that it is a good idea. Thanks.
-
Hope you're feeling better today Karen. Great that you've turned being flooded in into a positive - great attitude!
-
Hi Maureen, welcome to the site!

Hi Jo, sorry you're having a hard time of it. I've been awol myself due mostly to feeling really shi**y with a virus, but also too much (medicinal!) wine, and am finding it difficult to get back into the groove. I'm planning my first "return" fast day for Wednesday as it is a quiet day and will give me the best chance of…
