I was born in U.K. (Derbyshire!) but live in SW France. Sorry, but I don't like cake, but love wine and cheese (guess why I live in France!). Hope we all find what works for us.

Yes x 3. Walk/jog intervals, including hills but without puppy. I tried it with him previously and trying to jog, breathe, count and manage lead was a little testing!
-
Great posts full of useful and interesting information. Thanks!
-
@RangerRickL - love the picture! Just sitting here with my morning coffee debating going out and getting in the interval training I need to do for another challenge I am in...

Yes x 3, despite having lunch out (unplanned, but worth it). Lots of walking.

Pleased to say I have started May with 3 Yes, despite it being decidedly chilly here. Quite sunny though, and forecast to get better as the week goes on. Very quiet Public Holiday here, but am seeing reports of disturbances elsewhere in the country. It must be hard marking Fete de la Travail (workers' Day) when you don't…

I'm back for May after a not-so-good April - nothing major just some of low-level niggles plus a couple of social events. It's a Public Holiday here today, but not one that involves markets or celebrations, so apart from the shops being closed no real effect on me (I'm retired so no work every day!). Hope we all have a…

@craigo3154 Lovely cat - very much like a rescue cat I had many years ago. She had been born in a shed, had cat flu while very young and missed the key socialisation window, so unlike your girl she was not friendly!. It was a real achievement the first time she sidled up onto my knee (pretending I was part of the couch)…

Yes x 3 Pilates

Yes x 3 Dog walking (in the drizzle - it's supposed to be Spring!) and Pilates.
-
Yes x 3 Dog walking and 40 mins upper body workout. Was a good workout, but I need to find my dumbbells as the resistance bands weren't really suitable, plus they irritated my hands. @LoraineGB Great result! Enjoy your trip to England.

Yes x 3 - walking with dogs.

April 7 & 8 Yes to exercise and tracking, but slightly over on calories, so Pass days. I am trying a new regime for a while to see if it suits me, so am working towards keeping within a weekly calorie goal. This will allow me a bit of flexibility for lunch out, drinks with friends etc., while keeping in overall balance.…

Yes x3 - playing with dogs mostly!

Pass day. I have a painting lesson all afternoon on Thursdays, followed by a glass of wine and apéros with the teacher, her husband and any guests who drop in. Although enjoyable, I also find it quite stressful (I'm not very good!) and so only have the energy to cook and eat supper when I get back. Unless I've managed to…

Yes x 3. Took the puppy for a long walk in the sun this morning (didn't even need a jacket, sorry folk with horrible weather!), nearly had to duck under a low-flying Mirage 2000, then sat outside enjoying the sunshine and watching the new horses run around. We did have a very impressive thunderstorm last night, with really…

BadgerLamb236 April Week 1 Tuesday Prev weight 162.5 Current weight 164.2 Sorry folk - had an indulgent Easter! Also had to rush out yesterday morning, so weighed and ran, then forgot to come back later to report.
-
Yes x 3 Lots of chasing around with dogs this afternoon, after 90 mins or so indoor walking this morning.
-
Yes x 3 - out in the garden with both dogs in the sun. Had put my calorie goal up for Easter, but Tuesday it goes back to "trying to lose weight " mode. I need it. Ended up going out for lunch 3 times, instead of the once we had planned. Lovely, but both my waistline and my wallet are saying enough now! @RangerRickL and…

Pass Day #1 - was always intended as having lunch out at my local restaurant. Really lovely food and wine - probably not that far over goal but not tracking and negligible exercise. Hope everyone had a great day.
-
Pass day. On the way back from shopping called in to a local restaurant to see a friend just back from NZ - ended up staying for lunch. So over calories, no tracking and much wine and loafing around! Good day, but bad for the waist. Easter Sunday lunch out, then back on track for April all being well. Congratulations to…

Failed on all counts today! Seem to be having a bit of an "off" time - often happens around the time of the equinox. Hope to be back on form for April.
-
Yes x 3 today. @w8goal4life so sorry to hear about your friend, and hope he continues on the path to full recovery. @jugar hope your horse is OK. In a strange way I quite miss my visitor, but not the mess he left behind!

BadgerLamb236 Week 4 Tuesday Prev weight 162.7 Current weight 162.5 Sorry - weighed yesterday first thing then had to rush out to an appointment so forgot I hadn't posted.

Yes x 3. Barely managed exercise today, hope tomorrow is better!

Thanks @craigo3154. I will have to modify somewhat (jumping is out at the moment for me) but can certainly include most of the moves at the beginning of my Pilates sessions, which includes most of the abs stuff. Pass day again here, so definitely out of the Winners' Circle for March. April will start with a Pass Day as…

@craigo3154 Yes please, I would be interested in your body weight exercise routine as I have a bit of floor space but no equipment bar some stretchy bands. Door frame is at an angle, but may be able to use it. Thanks!

Pass day #3 - over on calories. Met up with an old friend who is back in France (he goes to family for the winter) but unfortunately he has had a heart problem so has to go back for an operation next week. Quite a worry, particularly as he is not a young man. Fingers crossed we will be seeing him back soon. Spring equinox…
