Good lifting Beeps! Lol at skipping calves! My calves are freakishly strong! I do them on rest times between other lifts. But agree, not a lot of lasting impact from them! And nice work on Sc Aigre! Glad you're enjoying it!! Sam-you're losing so well! Hope you're feeling better! I'm jealous! I am convinced that until my…

10/10/16 Squats 3x5@160lbs! (Warm up 5x45, 45, 95 & 135) Bench 2x5@45, 3x5@80! Barbell row: I think the short bar at my gym is 35lbs, not 25 as these felt MUCH heavier than 80lbs....3x5@85lbs(95?) WHTs: 2x6@220lbs! New PR, felt good too! May try them on DL day next time instead, :).

Aigre-good job fitting it all in! Glad you to the trend sheet to work. I still feel like I'm missing a lot of stuff, challenges etc., but the recommendations seem solid. If I wasn't a hypo mess I expect I'd have done better with it. Brad is encouraging me to stick with it but I can't keep gaining. It's really frustrating!…

Hey ladies! Aigre-mine was supppsed to automatically update, but never did. I would copy and paste mine from MFP. There is a link on the sheet somewhere (first page maybe?) that will tell you about the logging. I watched a few videos and followed the directions. You'll figure it out, there is s bit of a learning curves…

Sam-I did. I did the gradual recommended macros for 2-3 weeks, then they adjusted them for me a little last week and I just kept gaining. :( I have hit the macros every day. I put my weight gain struggle and thyroid stuff on my trend sheet "get to know me" part for the coaches. I just can't keep gaining. I was already up…

Good to hear! I may need to drag a box over to the rack tomorrow... :) thanks!

@AigreDoux try this: http://www.eattoperform.com/refer-a-friend/. Not sure that'll work? If it doesn't, a few pages back Sam posted a link too, the one I used to sign up. Try her link. :) for you, not wanting to lose more right now, I think it'll be a perfect fit for you! Love the fueling your lifting aspect, but I just…

I'm in this boat too! I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto's and am on synthroid, pending bloodwork and possible adjusting in a few weeks. I gained 20lbs in the also few months despite a deficit and exercise. Very frustrating! I lift often and walk and am hoping the new med will help me finally lose some fat!…

Thanks beeps! Misery loves company I guess :( It totally sucks! I was running a serious deficit for months and gaining! And exhausted and losing my hair :(. My meds are helping a little with fatigue but I guess not weight loss-which I've read happens. Sigh. :# The gaining is scary! I'd take 0.5 a week loss! It'll add up…

I was just thinking about this today! So whipped after today's lifting. Just exhausted and it took 1.5 hours! Getting heavier and longer break between sets so it's dragging out. Just posted this in the daily thread-but I'm looking at mad cow as an option... But good to know a break or deloading is popular enough! I'll be…

I wear chucks every time now, but wore my vans a few times. The worked just as well :)

Love a new thread!! New month lets rock it! Squat racks were full when I got to the gym-so I did WHTs first :) love them! WHTs: 2x8@215lbs!!! B) Squats: 2x4@45, 1x5@95, 1x5@125, 5x5@155lbs Bench: 5x5@80lbs BOR: 5x5@80lbs I'm definitely reaching my limits! It took 1.5 hours to get through this workout today and I was…

I struggle with this too! Lower bar squats are easier for me as I can lean forward a bit more and don't feel like I'm going to fall backwards. Lots of people squatting at the gym have form issues so you're not alone! I'm working on mine too, but agree, box squats are a great way to practice safely!
-
Just back from the gym: The squat racks were full when I got there so I started with WHTs. WHTs: 215lbs 2x8!! New record for me! Seriously delighted at this lift lately!! Squat: warm ups 2x4@45, 1x5@95, 1x5@12, then 155lbs 5x5! Bent over rows: 80lbs 5x5 Bench: 2x5@45lbs, then hit 80lbs (very heavy for me!) 5x5!! Took an…

Aigre-it's hard to keep all the plates spinning when things are different. Once Dh is home and you're back to your normal routine you'll find that balance again :). Hang in there and do what you can :). Stephe-good for you! Taking it easy and listening to your body is hard! Dawn-dang! Your DL is crazy!! Go girl! My back…

Sam-(((hugs))) sorry you're sick! But you're making nice progress just the same :). Hope you feel better fast!! Pudding-I agree, I'm not a BW routine follower, but I'm sure you can get a good workout that way, I just don't  .hope it works out well for you :). Dawn-bummer on the schedule change :(. Hope you have a…

Hi guys!! Sam-what does fat burgled mean? I'm happy to donate some of mine if anyone wants it! Glad you're slowly losing, that's ideal!! I switched to sl5x5 a few months ago for similar reasons. Deloading was rough initially, but I'm finally hitting new numbers now. I'm also eating at or close to TDEE now, and higher carb, where I've been running a deficit until now. That has made a BIG difference for me. The time off is usually good, and recommended from…

Dawn-nice work! How do you like the chalk? I've seen evidence of it at my gym, but not in action  Beeps-rest is important too! And thanks! It's a good place to be! Pudding-I agree! I am self conscious when others watch me too! So, I'm in all new territory now, finally!! I looked back and am now squatting and benching…
