  • Jello Cake Any white mix. Sugar-free strawberry gelatin. Bake cake as directed. Mix gelatin with one cup very hot water. Punch holes in baked cake, and pour gelatin over the top. Top with low-fat whipped cream. Sometimes I add fresh strawberries. Really tasty, and still my adult son's favorite dessert.

  • Celery stalks with Laughing Cow or home made yogurt cheese. I usually add chives, onion and garlic powder to flavor the cheese.
  • I'm a bit of a cheapskate, so I just use a Propel or a regular plastic bottle that drinks come in. I take a permanent marker and draw a line at the 4 and 8 ounce levels. I change out the bottle every few days. Works very well for me, as I never have to look at a huge jug of water waiting for me to drink it.
  • I have before, but I hit a brick wall after a few weeks. If I were you, I would still do some non-aerobic exercises, if only to keep yourself up mentally. Maybe some light weights for your arms. Ask your doc if sit ups or leg lifts would be ok.

  • I believe it is the difference between calories consumed, and those used for your daily routine. For example, if you eat 1500 calories a day, and use 300 calories up, then ypur net calories would be 1200. Someone will be along to correct me, if I'm wrong. :)

If so, I would total the "as prepared" nutrients of all servings in the entire box, and subtract…

  • Hi there, A few years back, I invested in a pedometer and hit the road. I really like the one I have, it's the Omron Walking Style. Keeps tracks of steps, aerobic steps, miles, and calories used. You plug it into your PC, and it keeps a running total. Anyway, the first few days, I just kept it in my pocket to see what my…
  • Look at your hips! I can see a distinct difference. Also, it looks to me that even your watch is a little looser. Post again in a couple weeks. Wear the same outfit...only this time, put on a smile. :) You're doing great!
