Everyone's given you great advice. I think you're doing great, and the key thing is that you are not only not gaining more weight; but you've taken 8 lbs off. So, it's definitely helping. Please stick with it, as you will be glad in the long run. Take care

I'm 47 and I certainly find it harder; but I'm going to keep trying to lose and eat healthy. Add me if you would like :)

At the US CDC website, your weight range would be 108-144 lbs. From posts I read by others, it seems BF calculators are not very accurate. I think if you had access to a gym or had someone advise what exercises to do, for certain areas, you could tone up the areas you wish (ie, waist, etc). Maybe someone else can give you…

Definitely see your doctor and have bloodwork done to rule out any deficiencies. Great job on your weight loss.

I just had a good discussion about this with my doctor on Tuesday. She said I have to drink at least 8 cups of water a day PLUS it doesn't impact things in just a few days, it has to be long term. TODAY, I am starting to drink at least 8 cups of water (at least 4 water bottles that hold 500 ml) a day. I'm going to try this…

http://www.nestlehealthscience.ca/en/products/Boost-Fruit-Flavoured-Beverage This is similar to what I took in the hospital. It may also help the lady who is 78 lbs and trying to put on weight. I felt very good taking it. Take care :)

Pictures can be deceiving too. I know from your pics you look fine; but you know how you look in real life 3-D. I know when I was sick and had to gain/replace a lot of weight, the Resource fruit replacement meal really helped. It was best served over a lot of frozen ice. But it helped me gain back a lot of weight in a…

In addition to what has already been said, be careful of cars coming in/out of their driveways and get a whistle that you can easily grab and blow if you run into a bad situation.

I'm not sure. I have read lots online that says things like hot peppers, curry, etc increase your metabolism. Only thing you can do is try it and see if it has an impact for you (as long as it doesn't bother your stomach). Take care

Deficiencies in D3, B12, too high or low TSH, and hypoglycaemia can cause those issues you mentioned. If you haven't been checked, ask your doctor to have the bloodwork done. Hope you are feeling better soon.

If you do some baking/ cooking, you could add a few chocolate chips to pancakes or muffin recipes. Or cocoa to the same. My parents usually make diet puddings. The other suggestions noted are great also.

If you use Facebook, "The Rawfoodfamily" has really good posts on this and similar subjects. I tried to past an image here of plant proteins (many of which have more protein than chicken), but mfp doesn't give me an option and I'm on my iPhone, so it's too hard to go back and forth. Sorry. Here's a link to their page if…

I throw all that away. I know my parents cook the parts, as my dad eats them. They cook faster than the rest of the bird if you decide to cook them. They put them on the roasting pan (don't leave them in the bird). Personally I think they are yucky. Lol

Will do so

Re: loose skin. One of my friends posted that their loose skin tightened up after a year on maintenance, and you can't tell that there was even loose skin after that time. I can't remember which friend though. Maybe speak with your dr about the skin. It may depend on how big you were and how much skin you have left. Take…

This, and let someone know what you are doing, so if you don't show up for work/class, someone knows. And vary your route. Take care

I agree with this lady. It goes away over time. (I used to run years ago)

Just curious; but at the subway canada website, it did not list the 12" pizza sub; but only lists the 6" one. If you double the sodium at the link it is somewhat less than what you are recording. I am not sure if you are selecting items off of the mfp database; but I have found information to be incorrect on a number of my…

That's terrific. It starts with little changes, and it can make a big impact overall.

Get your basic bloodwork done, including b12, d3, TSH, etc. Some of these things could be causing you to feel crappy if they are low. Taking a good multivitamin also helps. I say this from personal experience. The d3 supplement drops have made the biggest positive impact. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I don't think that would work. My dad had heart attacks and finally a heart transplant. And my uncle actually had a heart attack and died in his yard in Mount Pearl when my son was a baby. We all love(d) salt too but we (including you) really need to lower your salt level if you want to stay alive. And trust me, I love…

Ditto above. And, my doctor said what they mentioned about drinking lots of water. We have to drink lots to get rid of the salt that is making us retain water. Doesn't make sense but it's what they say we need to do. I'm going to try it. I hope you do too.
