While I still can enjoy it, I definitely don't prefer fast food anymore. Also: any chocolate snack dip.

I'm trying to prepare myself for any weight gain. I set a range; my weight should not go above 130 or below 105. I'm going on a real 1200cal diet+exercise cals to see if I gain weight. If my metabolism has slowed, will it go back to normal after I start eating a proper amount.

Sadly...no. I never eat back exercise calories. I was about to add my net is probably below 1100. I never added it in to MFP because they didn't have what I did. I would serve a volleyball 10-15 feet, jog to get it, jog 15-20 feet back. Repeat 120 times. It usually took an hour and fifteen minutes to complete. I stopped…

Thank you for the responses. I just wanted to note a) I really prefer saving calories for the end of the day so I can have a nice dessert and b) I can't cook outside of using a microwave. Do you have any other ideas for a quick, easy breakfast under 300 calories?

I was wanting this weird cheese sandwich I make when I'm short on time. Now I really want chocolate pudding with crushed Oreo.

I lost about 30 lbs from eating less than 900 calories everyday for three weeks. I'm 5'4. I have not gained any weight and continued to lose after upping it to 1200 (when I realized that I was making myself miserable). I am slowly upping my calorie intake (like 50 more calories a week slow). "Starvation mode" is a myth (at…

Thanks for all the replies! I ended up getting a grilled cheese (because it was easy to 'dissect') and fries. I did not eat the fries. I estimated the sandwich (2 slices of bread, cheese, and some butter) then added 100 to the total.

Wrong person, sorry. Nice hair.

9:30-10:00 (Breakfast) 2:00-3:30 (Lunch) 6:30-7:30 (Dinner) 10:30 (Snack) My meals are spaced out 4-5 hours. My snack is where I make up for unused calories so far that day. I usually exercise before lunch and occasionally before dinner.

I agree with the guy above me and take measurements. I lost around 30lbs and saw no difference. My mom pointed out I was thinner, and when I checked, my measurements actually went down. As for where you lose weight, that depends on you. I lost from my shoulders and wrist first, which kind of sucked because those areas…

I'm also a 19 year old female and I will make an attempt (I'm horrible at guessing). You look very nice. I would guess 110-135, though I'm thinking of someone closer to my frame (5'4). Therefore, my guess is 126. If that's more than you way please don't take it offensively because you are not fat. I may also be…

For now, I'm not comfortable opening my diary. Maybe in the future. My big problem is vegetables. I only eat carrots and lettuce. I realize I'm missing out on nutrients because I don't eat any others. I know supplements will not replace them, but maybe they can make up for it a tiny bit until I get my diet on track.

I'm really sorry you had to go through that. You're worth is not determined by your weight. I really hope you are happy and good luck on your goals!

That was very, very rude of her. Please do not let that get you down or stop you. Even of you only lost .2 lbs, that's still a difference. If you stop, you'll regret it later. Congrats on what you've done so far though!

Supersize vs. Superskinny It's a British TV show you can find on youtube. They take a morbidly obese person and an underweight person, have them track their food intake for a week, then they spend a few days in a "feeding clinic" where they swap meals for a few days. It talks about eating problems from both sides (under…

For me, Dannon Greek yogurt. It's 80 calories and it keeps me so full I could consider it a meal. Pretzels, fruit, carrots, and cheese are also favorites :)

Thanks. I'll start lifting as soon as I can and hopefully that'll help. You're right; I'm terrified of being fat and gaining weight. I don't like weight-lifting because it reminds me of a low point I once hit. I'll try to have a new attitude toward it. Are there any household items I could use for weights?
-
Seriously, that's awesome. I can barely run one in 17 minutes. You should be proud :)

Can I join? Age: 19 Height: 5'4 SW: 137 (before I joined) CW: 112 GW: 107-125 (about to start toning) I lost weight before I joined, now I plan on toning up. I'm not sure if my weight will go up or down (up I assume?)

How am I going to change it? After a discussion in a different post, I plan on trying to build muscle and also learn to accept my body.
-
I guess I do need to work on body acceptance. I haven't been comfortable with myself since I was little. I think I'll keep up with volleyball and also try to build muscle. Thank you :)

The reason why I want to lose is because I've got some fat on me. Calculators online say I have about 25% body fat. That number scares me. Most of my friends are thin. One's 5'6 and 115lbs, and another's 5'5 and 95lbs (she's trying to gain though). I feel like the '"fat friend" because I'm the biggest (after another whose…
