I don't think 1,400 sounds too aggressive. I went from eating around 5000 calories a day right down to 1,200 and although it was a huge change, I coped fine. You have meals less than 200 for DINNER?! I usually have tiny meals throughout the day so I can have a feast at night lol. Saying that, if I over eat the day before then soup it is for me. All veggies bar potatoes and it usually comes in at around 160 per portion. Or a salad. I'm not very good at super low cal meals!

I occasionally go through these phases too and get round it by eating a ton of veg. Casseroles, soups, big roast dinners minus the trimmings! Whatever it is I eat huge, huge portions of it because the calorie content is always so low.

"I estimate portion size" I can almost guarantee this is the reason. Invest in some scales, even cheap ones will do, and make sure you're "breaking down" meals in your diary. 3000 calories seems like a lot for a lightly active petite female. Generally the people I have heard of who eat raw (females) claim to be eating a huge amount of calories in smoothies. I've lost 40lbs and have gone from size 22 dress to a 16!! I think that seems like a huge drop for a fairly small loss (in comparison to my size), but as everyone is different heights and builds it would be impossible to say a general rule.

I'm eat between 1,200 - 1,400 a day + exercise. And the blood tests covered checking for anaemia, which is what he was convinced it was, and my iron levels came back fine.
