I always used to think that my features were very centred in my face! Nope, just fat!!
-
The left photos were all between roughly 225lbs - 240lbs. All the right ones are between 150lbs - 160lbs. Still have around 30lbs or so to lose though.

Yes! Regularly! I do the same with trying to save up calories for the evening but sometimes I just can't stop thinking about food even after dinner. So the only option is to have an early night because there's only so much willpower I have!

Are you a newbie? Make the most of it! Don't eat below 1200 calories a day but appreciate it and the weight loss because chances are is that it won't stay that way!
-
About 70lbs in between the two photos and I'm actually now about 15lbs lighter than the second photo too!
-
What the above person said! It is only something you can do to help out a little rather than eliminate it completely. Much more comes down to your genes.

I'm vegan and agree it's not more or less healthy than an omni diet unless you make it. Some days I'm a healthy vegan, most I'm not! As for protein, I cope fine. Hit my daily goals without trying regularly and I'm only on 1200 cals! I eat a lot of tofu in different dishes, and soy mince/meats have tonnes as well as really…

I love it! I do find some parts incredibly sad but admittedly once I look in the mirror after watching an episode I can't help but think "I'm not all that bad!"

If you put in your correct stats and it gave you the answer of 625 calories a day then that's probably true. MFP won't say that because it really wouldn't be healthy to consume that amount, the others are just calculators. Eat 1,200 a day (I promise you won't gain weight!) and make up the extra 600 calories from exercise.…

Pretty much the only place on my body the skin snapped back! I suppose I should be grateful..

Just for the record, vegan milk and ice cream are pretty readily available. Not sure if you're from the UK but sainsburys, asda and tesco all stock vegan ice cream and it's good! I'd go for peanut butter and ice cream if you want a high calorie but not particularly healthy one, or go for avocados, bananas and seeds if you…

Yep, it doesn't kick start anything. I don't eat until about 2 or 3pm. Just do what works for you.
-
Not sure how much this helps as I'm only half way and it's more just my jaw line but here you go anyway!

I regret not writing down exactly how I felt before losing weight. It's easy to forget them sad feelings and start picking out new things you're not happy with once you start getting closer to your goal so I would highly advise that. Even the most obvious feelings or the most obvious things your weight stops you from…

Agreed. And the same to you Daniilynn. Set as sedentary, use the pedometer in MFP if you have the app, log steps if not, log exercise too and eat half back.

Me too! I'm currently laying in bed feeling very sorry for myself right now after being in huge amounts of pain last night. Mine ended up being diagnosed as gastritis and duodenitis so might be worth checking it out! Although I'm pretty sure that IBS pain tends to be lower down in the stomach where as gastritis is right at…

The pressure that I put on myself to look good now! If I don't look my absolute best then I'm very critical of myself. Something I never used to do before.. Maybe because I always looked rubbish!

From lengthy research the face definitely seems to suffer the least regarding loose skin. Despite my age I have the palest, most unstretchy/unbouncy back skin ever but my double chin snapped right back. One of the few places on my body where I can't pinch the excess skin! Saying that, I have seen people age in their face…

I've got 40lbs left to lose after doing the first 60 so also curious to see how much difference it makes!
-
Thank you!
-
For me yes too. Face and waist were the first. When I see people I haven't seen for a few months they're always like "you've lost loads of weight!" Whilst stroking their jaw line with the back of their hands! Yes my double chin has gone!
-
Strength training won't help your skin. It will only help fill it out with muscle. I'm probably going to have a lot of people disagree but I always think it's easier for men to lose a large amount of weight and not have to deal with as much loose skin because they can fill their skin back out with muscle, whereas females…

I was also stuck at 175lbs for the month over Xmas. I was eating 1400 and not exercising but to be honest I probably was under estimating portions and not logging little tiny bits of food. I went back down to 1,200. I'm a lot more strict, have got back in to weighing things and the weight is coming off again without any…

Me too, when I was at my slimmest I had cellulite on my thighs and it just got progressively worse as I piled on the weight. I've lost about 4" off my thighs so far and to look at before and now photos you can definitely see the improvement but to just look at them on their own now, they're still covered in dimples!

Always wanted to lose the 6-7 stone I put on during a relationship but didn't know where to start. Had no idea about calorie in vs calorie out, the only thing I knew about calorie counting is how everyone seems to say "it's not worth living your life like that". I assumed I just have to pick some crazy diet (Cambridge,…

For me, no. Going by numerous apps on my phone (no fitbit etc) it works out to 50 steps per ONE calorie. It'll take a while to burn off a chocolate bar! Of course it's still good to walk as much as you can, but if you want to be burning calories then pretty much any other form of excercise will be more efficient.

I posted a similar question when I started MFP a few months ago and nothing has changed! I think a big part is that I wasn't used to hunger, and now when I feel hungry it's real! I get really emotional, dramatic and unreasonable when I'm really hungry. It's pretty much the same as when I haven't slept well for a few days!…
