I think most of this is coming from the vegan world. I have seen some credible stuff on dairy and cancer - had something to do with a specific protein in dairy. Not a fan of the standard with American slices, but with some really good cheese, I could be interested. If I want straight cheese, though, I usually go for a corn tortilla or corn chips instead of bread.
