False. The next person hates chocolate.

Watch out with pickles, though, they have a lot of sodium.

Food type does not determine where you store fat, genetics do.

I was actually sad that I lost so much from my thighs. When I was at my highest, I can't say I was 100% happy with them, but then they hit a point that I was OK with, and I was really sad when they just kept shrinking. I like my big thighs and my muscular calfs and my huge feet (despite how annoying it is to find good…

Because I want to be. Also, I...don't really like people, in general.
-
LOL, I chipped one of my teeth with one of those.

Skinny, no. Healthy, yes. I also don't eat foods I don't like, but I genuinely enjoy most fruits and vegetables, so that helps. I started out not liking exercise, but I've got it down to a 30 min. affair, each day, and I feel like crap if I don't do it, so I really don't mind. Really, though, I still eat what I want, I…

What, people who actually bother to do their research?
-
Science disagrees with you.
-
Have you asked the vast majority of people, though, or are you just going by what the media tells you? And I don't "try", I literally don't care. I don't look at any of my scars (stretch marks included) as flaws, I see them as evidence that I've lived.

Fat is as genetic as tall.

I tried Stevia once and it made me violently ill. I stick with honey and raw sugar for sweeteners, because, well, I tend to have reactions like the one I had to Stevia with pretty much every other sweetener. If you like it and you can handle it, though, I say go for it.

I feel this link is relevant: http://descy.50megs.com/descy/webcred/webcred/dhmo.html

Um, your statistics are off, because I don't hate my stretch marks. I don't really care either way about my stretch marks. They're there, there's nothing I can do about them, and a whole lot of people have them, so why worry about them?

Same.

I'm a vegetarian and I get 100% almost every day. I eat oatmeal, tofu, beans, nuts, dried fruits, spinach, squash, root vegetables, mushrooms, and, yes, chocolate. I also use blackstrap molasses in my baked oatmeal, which adds a little. It's just a matter of being really diligent about eating a lot of vitamin-rich, whole…

Well, technically, no, but you probably want to take some vitamins if you're not going to eat any fruits or veggies. Also, if you eat fruits and veggies, you get to eat more for the same calorie amount. That's a bonus in my book.
-
You'd be assuming wrong. There's a reason I said "currently". Before, I ate more calorie-dense foods. I also ate just to eat and ate well past feeling full.
-
I disagree. I'm currently in a state of weight loss and I only ever have to endure hunger on work days, about an hour before I leave, because I can't take a break to eat something in between lunch and leaving. Otherwise, I eat often enough that I rarely experience feelings of hunger. Usually, it's fruit or almonds in…

I have a significant list, but the first one that came to mind was coughing.

LOL, I've never heard Oregon pronounced any way BUT "Orygun" except in TV and movies, and I live in "Warshington" (which, thankfully, is only pronounced that way by about half the state).

And a lot of the science surrounding medicine is done by the very people set to profit off the medicine. Yes, educate yourself, but don't forget to take your sources into account while doing so.

Thrift stores. When I finally couldn't keep any of my pants up, anymore, I went and bought four "new" pairs from the local Value Village. I ended up spending about $30. Also, I take anything still wearable back to them once it's too big for me. Generally, I wear stuff until it's toast, but lately I've collected some good…

This. Even if it does count toward my daily fluid intake, I still log it in my diary. Also, unlike what many people here are saying, caffeinated drinks do not dehydrate you. They offer slightly less hydration value than water, but they still offer hydration (as they are, after all, generally mostly water). Oh, and, even…

That's one of the major reasons I don't get a flu shot. I don't see the point of putting myself at risk of an adverse reaction when there is a strong possibility it will do me little to no good, anyway. More to the point, though, I still think it's ridiculous that any company would threaten to fire someone if they didn't…
-
Lone Wolf by The Eels Pretty self-explanatory, really.
-
I don't want the shot because I've had adverse reactions to vaccines in the past, so I don't see the point of getting one when there are plenty of other ways to avoid getting sick and getting other people sick.
-
There are these things called surgical masks and gloves that do a pretty good job of protecting the people wearing them, as well as the people around them. In fact, most hospitals I know of force people to wear those if they refuse the flu shot. I can see the benefit of getting a flu shot if you do work in a healthcare…

Born in Yakima, WA, USA. Raised in apple, pear, cherry, and peach orchards in the middle of nowhere, where my closest neighbor was almost a mile away. English is my native language. I've got hillbillies and Yankees on one side and Irish and Native American on the other.

Mine will always be Joy of Cooking. It's just a good cooking resource in general. I also really like Patti LaBelle's "LaBelle Cuisine". I've adapted quite a few of the recipes in there to my current diet.
