Well, we don't really do heavy weights because we as women don't want to bulk up. The heaviest I will do is 10-12 pounds. But, the secret to toning up is doing it slow, not fast. My trainer said when you do it slow the muscle works harder so you don't necessarily have to do heavy weights.

Weights. I started taking a physical conditioning class and we do an hour of weights. Since then, I have noticed more definition in my arms and legs.

I bought it at Ross. Thank you.

Great job. Keep up the good work.

MIne did that earlier, it was missing the img. You might want to repost the code.

Got it, thanks everyone for the help. Also, thanks for the compliments.

Sorry, for some reason pics aren't posting. I will work on it.

Don't get discouraged, check to see if you're losing inches. In the beginning the scale is not your best friend. Don't depend on it for results, as long as you feel better and notice you are losing inches that is a good sign. It took me months before the scale moved, but now it's just coming off. Just keep working at it.…

It's sad to hear, but she struggled a lot. On a local news site, people were being rude and insensitive on facebook about the story. No matter how the person dies, there is no reason to be disrespectful.

Hi and welcome. This is a great site for tips and motivation, so joining was a great first step. When I started out, I made sure I tracked everything, and didn't leave out or lie about my portions (no matter how bad I knew I did). Eventually you start learning what you should, and shouldn't eat. Good luck to you on your…

Welcome to the site. This is a great place for motivation and support. Feel free to add me as a friend if you like. I am always looking for extra motivation and support. Good luck in your journey.

Welcome. Everyone here is so helpful so if you ever need to vent or have questions this is a great place to do it. Good luck on your journey.

You just have to tell yourself you don't want to go back to where you started from. We all have those hard times when stress is just too much you want to eat. I go to the gym instead of picking up that piece of cake, or go for a walk to take my mind off of everything. it works great for me. Everyone is different, but you…

If it's not showing up on MFP, I usually go with whatever is closest. It seems to be working out for me. Good Luck.

Thank you everyone.

Don't worry, they have a great menu for people watching what they eat. I like the steak they offer, it's yummy. And congrats to your sister, that is a hard test to take.

Great job. It's always exciting to buy clothes in a smaller size. It shows all your hard work is paying off.:flowerforyou:

The first week is always hard, but good for you for not giving into the temptation. It gets easier. Good luck in your journey and keep up the good work.

Hahaha, my husband talks a lot of crap about my kickboxing class, but he can't even keep up. That's what they get for talking so much.

If you're on the website, go to tools and click on weightloss tickers.

Going to send a friend request. Once you get started and see results, you will never want to go back. It is all worth the hard work. Yes, it does take time, but you will feel like a different person, and want to make everyone around you feel great as well.

It was an eye opener for me. I thought I was doing great until I started tracking. I'm glad I do, because now I'm more self conscious about what I put in my mouth before I do it.

I like the new fiber one cinnamon, it tastes like cinnamon toast crunch, and multi grain cheerios.

I eat a lot of them back. Not all of them though. Like the post before mine stated, sometimes it gives you back like 3000 cal. for the day and that is really hard to eat back. If I have a big workout day, I try to eat at least half back, and I have been losing weight doing it this way.

Don't get discouraged. Exercise will help out a lot, but just keep going. It's hard to stay motivated when the scale doesn't move, but don't pay attention to it. If you're losing inches and clothes don't fit the same, you are on the right track. I went 6 weeks without seeing the scale move much, but I kept going and now…

I use Pandora on my iPhone, and there is a station called 21 min workout, but it plays different songs. That station always gets me motivated. If you can't get the app, you can go online to the website, and maybe it can give you some ideas of songs to add.

Are you losing inches? I noticed I was losing inches, but the scale was not moving much. Then all of a sudden I noticed after 6 weeks the weight started dropping. I know it can be frustrating, but with all your hard work it will pay off. Good luck on you journey. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods
