Thanks for the positive post! I'm addicted to Diet Coke and have tried to wean myself off for years. It's not easy -- congratulations on your achievement! Now it's my turn. Wish me luck!!

Thanks for posting these links! I have fibro too, and it can be really depressing trying to exercise with it.

I lost 30 pounds earlier this year, and gained 7 back. I'm definitely "starting over - again"! Funny thing is, I'm not sure why I got off track last time. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out and avoid it this time. LOL I have a cruise to go on in December -- I plan on being healthy and looking good!!

You've done a great job so far! I know it's hard to get motivated -- I'm in the same boat. I've lost 30 pounds and can't seem to find the motivation to keep going. Feel free to add me as a friend. The folks on this site are wonderful at supporting and motivating others. I wouldn't have been able to lose the first 30 pounds…

I'm in pretty much the same situation. I lost 30 pounds and then started slacking off -- just a bit. I've gained back 4 pounds and I'm finding it really hard to get motivated again. To help encourage me to get back on track I've gotten rid of all my "fat" clothes. If I gain weight I'll have absolutely nothing to wear!!…

Keep up the good work! It took me a while to get used to the treadmill too. I like to walk outside when possible, but the treadmill is a great alternative on rainy days.

It's got to be a movie that really captures your attention. Something you can lose yourself in while your on the treadmill (within reason of course!) I love action movies - The Matrix, 5th Element, Sherlock Holmes, etc.

I've always been an emotional eater. It's frustrating when you get into that situation -- eating because your upset, then being upset because you've over eaten. If possible, I go for a walk and listen to my ipod. If I'm down, I listen to upbeat stuff. If I'm mad, I listen to calming music. I get my exercise in, have a…

I've played the Zumba for Wii -- it's a lot of fun! I haven't done any regular DVD's, but I've gone to a few classes. Sorry I can't be much help.
