  • I have been doing CrossFit for about a year and LOVE it!!! Not only is it a great workout but from my experience the community of people is amazing. I have never done any type of workout and felt so supported by so many at the same time.

  • I second going to Target. Also if you have a TJ Maxx nearby I have gotten some there.
  • I think you should go. I just started CrossFit and I go alone. It was wierd for me at first but I was proud I did it. I am starting to get to know people now and am so glad that I made that first step!
  • 100 calorie packs of almonds. That way I can toss them in purse so they are handy if I get hungry throughout the day!
  • Thanks so much for this! I just bought one and was trying to figure it out! :) So excited to start using it! :)
  • I haven't started crossfit yet. I have been doing crossfit bootcamp that I started with a groupon. (Thank goodness for that.) I had never heard of it before and now I am hooked. I am going to switch over to crossfit at the beginning of next month. I actually continued the bootcamp for 2 months after my groupon and am now…
  • I buy a bag of raw baby spinach every week. I started mixing a handfull into almost any meal I was eating. (Like with spaghetti or even when I would eat a frozen lean cuisine I would chop it up and mix it in once the food was cooked.) It's really surprising how well it tastes in alot of things.
  • If you are losing inches you are probably replacing fat with muscle. That's a good thing. :)
  • Potato2, try going to youtube and googling crossfit. There are all sorts of videos on there. Most look pretty intense but a good gym will work with your fitness level.
  • I have only done crossfit bootcamp that doesn't require the lifting. I am thinking of actually upgrading to crossfit next month. If I were you try contacting one of your local crossfit gyms. They may offer you a free trial workout or let you come in to observe a WOD. I also recommend if you have more than one gym nearby to…
  • One thing that really helped me is getting a gym buddy. I am too easily conviced to skip the gym. Having someone to hold me accountable to meet up with helped me a great deal. I can let myself not go but I won't let myself hold that other person back. WE all get into ruts. Good luck! :)
  • I haven't tried regular crossfit yet. I have been doing a crossfit bootcamp for the last month and a half, and love it. I am thinking of making the switch to crossfit but am not sure if I am ready yet. I plan on talking to the owner of the gym to see what he thinks. :)
  • I'm doing crossfit bootcamp. (It doesn't involve the heavy lifting.) I love it so far and am thinking of trading over to crossfit. I normally put it under circuit training also.
