Make a noodle bowl. Throw some ramen noodles, chicken stock, soy sauce, hot sauce, bok choy (or any veggie really) and a soft or hard boiled egg in to a bowl. I made that recently with leftover pulled pork. I also let some leftover shredded cabbage boil in the chicken stock too.

Is there someone you can talk to about your weight loss goal - maybe meet some successful people on these boards? On another thread I noticed you are trying to lose 5 lbs per week and are only at 1200 cal per day. I don't see your stats but judging by your picture I can safely guess that 1200 is much too low for you! Plus…

I do something similar with coconut oil and ground coffee. I usually end up super smooth - and smelling like dessert.

Tons of fun! The first class might seem awkward (with all the butt circles and body waves) but just remember that no one is looking at you. They are all looking at themselves in the mirror, feeling equally awkward. Once you just let go and enjoy it will be so much more fun! I decided to "try" it once and ended up sticking…

The OP also posted in other threads that she only eats ONE meal a day (i.e. dinner) and thinks it is okay to only eat 500 cal a day. OP if these are all true then you need to get some professional help for your eating disorder. And you should consider stopping to offer "advice" on these forums until you have a greater…

Me too! I totally tried the doritos and refried bean thing almost immediately after reading it.

Then good riddance!

Since you are in NY you should take a look at coming up to Ontario for a few of the CALA specialty courses, they should count towards your CECs (might need to get approval for those, but they are an international company). http://www.calainc.org/ (her website is a little old fashioned) Looking at their website AEA seems…

Aqua Zumba is not backed by a reputable Aquafit company (at least not here in Canada yet). I have my Group Aqua Fitness certification and employ numerous professionals in the industry and would not go near Aqua Zumba. Who are you getting your certification with?

Do you mean fresh rolls (the ones with the rice paper wrappers)? This is the base recipe I use, but I always end up making little changes. Just plain shrimp, rice noodles and lettuce works really well too (especially with a peanut dipping sauce).…

I typically use ground turkey but it could work with chicken too. Brown the meat with whatever seasoning you like, throw it in some Boston/butter lettuce (as a wrap) and add a spicy mayo. Maybe some tomatoes. Mmmm.

Potato pancakes! Pretty easy and quick to make too. Plus you can top them with whatever you want.

Water and tea really helped me. I found I was snacking at my desk from boredom, not because I was hungry or anything. Now I guzzle my water bottle or make a tea or even bring some apple cider I can heat up to keep me occupied for a little while.

I don't know what these are (we don't have them in Canada) but now I must have them.

Train for something together (like a Spartan race or something). Go to a show (magic show's or comedy clubs are pretty inexpensive). Go to Dave and Busters Go Karting Take a dance class Trampolining! It's becoming pretty big here, as a thing for adults Salsa lounge Paint ball Sky diving (or indoor sky diving)

I've done it. It's amazing. And better calorie-wise than if you melted that cheese on crackers right? RIGHT?
-
Not in a metabolic sense, no. But in knowing your habits and planning around them, yes! For example, if I know I won't get home after work until 6:30pm (dinner at 7) then I won't eat lunch at noon. I know I won't make it 7 hrs without going on a ravenous quest for snacks. Or if I'm planning on lounging on the couch all…

Black beans pan fried with chili powder and cayenne, then tossed on a sweet potato with sour cream. Mmmm. Or black beans mashed with taco seasoning, put in a taco with some cheese. One of my favourite dinners!
-
Leftover Halloween candy! Most mini chocolate bars are only 40-60 cals and totally take the edge off my sweet cravings.

No, she didn't but obsessive thinking like that is a very common sign of an eating disorder. Especially because she started several other threads in the past 12 hrs about weight loss and exercise. We could all be entirely incorrect about you having an eating disorder OP (and I hope we all are), but if this many people see…

For holiday parties, I put some pomegranate seeds in mini muffin liners (the super small, candy ones) and drizzle melted dark chocolate on them. Put in the fridge to harden and then just peel the chocolate off and eat. Really good :) Love pomegranates!

Spread almond butter and jam on a plain (or I guess one of the sweet flavours) rice cakes. Surprisingly tasty!

From what I understand TI is better geared towards pool swimming, not open water swimming. A lot of the principles are based on balance and streamlining - which are essential for good swimming - but in open water you simply cannot be consistent with those things as there are so many other factors. In open water you need to…

http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/comment/30005085#Comment_30005085 This thread was started yesterday. Maybe there are some ideas that will work for you.

http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1447557/salad-love I posted this a little while ago. Not too many responses but maybe something will inspire you.

I did it for a very long time, finishing at a very advanced level. Love, love, love it! Had to quit due to a serious back injury (unrelated) but it was definitely one of my favourite workouts.
-
Okay so I didn't read a lot of the responses, but I skimmed. I never tried the detox but I did try to cut back on sugar. I don't know if these will help but they worked for me. I got in to a bad habit of craving sugar around 3pm each day at work. - buy a good quality chocolate bar (typically less sugar than cheap stuff)…

What about those mini cans? You can still drink what you like but perhaps wean yourself down to a smaller amount.

Tee hee, so I burst out laughing when I read the title. I think you mean home-made bread, your title suggests that a person of questionable morals made your bread. ...sorry to be a spelling nazi. And yes, I am an immature child laughing at that. Long day at work I guess. :)

If you can't swim please don't do this! As a professional in this industry trust me, those belts are not a balanced support system. You need to have appropriate control in the water to be wearing one of these safely. If you can't swim then please don't swim without a qualified instructor. Perhaps you can look in to private…
