I eat meat every single day.

I eat stuff I want daily. No need for cheat meals.

Baked, boneless, and skinless chicken breast (about 3 oz), side of mashed potatoes, and broccoli. It was delish. And watermelon!!

http://cdn.muscleforlife.com/wp-content/uploads/freebooks/FNS.pdf This free-book explains everything so well. You can ignore the workout plan + supplement recommendation if you want. Just skip to the food part! Hope you find your balance.

I'm surprised that I don't have to ignore the foods that I love. I can have them everyday and still get to my goals.
-
I don't.

Looks like I'll be keeping everything the same. I had no idea how much effort + dedication went into getting your body fat % that low. Thank you all for your informative answers. I've learned so much!

This makes SO much sense. Thank you for explaining! To be 15-20% body fat If I'm being specific. I'm starting to think the same.

Newbie Question: If the bolded is true, how come so many bikini competitors change their macro %'s like crazy in order to look a certain way for a competition?
-
How do you like your results? Do you feel like you're going crazy eating less carbs?

Oops. Forgot to add. My daily cals are 1940 (maintaining). The only way I can tell a difference is by feeling it (clothes are lose). The scale is worthless and I can't really see that difference in those pictures. Well, some days I can and other days (like today) I see nothing. I really need to start measuring but to be…

I can't recall why I set up my macros that way and I feel like something is not right (except for protein %). Also, if switching them would make this process just a tiny bit faster, I would like to try it out.

MFP has a section for food + nutrition where you can ask all the questions you want and usually get informative answers. Also free. It's not so much that people aren't cut out for it. It's that not everyone is crazy enough to spend almost $200 to reach a goal that you could do for free using MFP. Someone also said they had…

$190 dollars?? Oh wow. I mean it's your money.. but I've lost 20 pounds before (and have kept it off) for way less than that. I'd rather use that money for some nice sports bras or new tennis shoes. Or chocolate.

You can eat clean without Advocare.

Glad I gave up Mc.Donald's + Soda. I knew I would never do it for myself so when I got pregnant I had every reason in the world to stop cold turkey. I haven't been at a Mc.Donald's or have had soda in about 3.5 years. Still, I was very unhealthy and gained more than I should of. I wish I would of thought more about my food…

I know a person who was 300 + pounds, lost his weight with Advocare, then as soon as he started eating real food (because you can't possibly keep doing this stuff forever) he started gaining as quickly as he started losing. I agree with almost everyone else. Stay away and make yourself a nice protein shake if needed.

It works definitely. But in my experience, I was miserable 24/7. I lost weight super fast.. but I also lost my energy, my somewhat good relationship with food, and my hair (not kidding. I really did lose A LOT of hair). Now I eat 1950 cals a day and lift weights instead of spending hours running on the treadmill every week…
-
Idk what everyone else said because I'm too lazy to eat but you needs to eatsss moreeeeeeee.
-
I weight myself everyday and only track it on MFP weekly. I don't do it because I HAVE to. I'm just curious. I say weight yourself but also take pictures and measure yourself in case the scale starts lying to ya!

You may need to provide some more info here. You are male/female? Weight? Height? Activity level?
-
Since I weigh 130 lbs my goal is 130 g. Definitely try to go over if possible.
-
I wish I didn't spend so much time starving myself at 1200 cals a day. Also wish I didn't run so much and not eat any of my calories back. The worst time of my life thus far.
-
" I disagree... Don't lift. Leave all the weights to me and stay out of the weight area. " Hahah This is funny. I definitely do wish this sometimes when the weight area is crazy packed. I have read every single post (I did not think there would be so many!). Now I have a better understanding of why people dislike/don't…

Carbs 45% Fat 25% Protein 30% Currently experimenting to see what works best for me. I'm doing recomp.

I like NO Xplode. It works for me. Not sure what's all in it.
-
Hahah it totally does for me at least. I always try to get one that's not so close to everyone.

Yes, I split my workouts. Full body routines are just so boring to me. Active rest days make a lot more sense than just laying on the couch (which is what I considered a rest day to be!). I think that's what I'll do if I feel like I need one. I definitely don't want to injure myself or over do it so I'm glad I asked and…

I don't feel like I ever over do it. Yes, I challenge myself every single day.. but I don't work out until I pretty much can't move.

I like weighing my food. I feel like a scientist. (I'm being silly. It is fun for me though!)
