It's fantastic. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. I have lots of experience with this.

I was stuck at a plateau for several months, read the book fat fast and blew it up.

Try making egg salad with an avacado, a little salt, pepper, and paprika. Amazing.

I take a few tbsp of coconut oil as a supliment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium_chain_triglycerides Amazing stuff.

Definately, coffee is fantastic pre-workout

I know this is kinda against your plan, but everything I have done and read has led me far far away from low fat. My favorite cook book right now is Fat Fast

I add a teaspoon of baking soda to cold water that is about 1 inch over the eggs bring it to a boil cut the heat and leave for 10 minutes remove eggs, drain and rinse under cold water untill cool enough to touch The shells should come right off, baking soda passes through the eggshell and helps the albumen to separate from…

I know you are looking for a shake/suppliment, but I figured I throw in what I have been doing seeing as it seems to be working so well. I eat a 6 oz steak with an egg, mushrooms and onions fried in coconut oil. Fantastic results, much better than any suppliment I have ever tried.

You are absolutely right about that. Based on what I know, it is important to reduce the chemicals in your body that mess with the absorption of nutrients and your own hormones. Everyone has different tolerances. However consuming more fat than any other macronutrient has proven to be the most helpful in regulating peoples…

My personal experience has led me to advise people with this kind of problem to spend less time looking at the total number of calories and more time on where those calories come from.

Only consuming 15% of your calories from fat will likely leave you feeling hungry and depressed. I am not going to say you shouldn't try it, after all N=1 experiments are worth it. There are far more documented problems with consuming a low fat diet than you might expect.

Actually the least amount of lean mass was lost on the diet of 90% fat. This was just an excerpt from one study that shows more fat is lost if your body is tuned to burning fat vs glucose. If you consume the majority of your calories from carbs, your system will be in a constant struggle to keep your blood sugar normal.…

Sounds like your sister may be resistant to Lipoprotein lipase. It is one of the main reasons why people stay thin regardless of diet vs the commonly assumed good metabolism. This could be a risk factor for her though, she can still be subject to the various metabolic syndromes and will never be told she is unhealthy until…

In my experience, reversing what you have for your carb intake for fat tends to work better. [the researchers in a 1956 study] put obese subjects on one of four different diets for 10 days, trying to see how different macronutrients affected fat loss. The diets all had the same calorie count—1,000 calories per day—but the…

I usually skip breakfast, but I tend to have bacon and eggs if I do make it

Why do you discredit low sugar?
-
My thoughts on this would lean twards not carb loading. Your glycemic stores are for emergency bursts of energy, not sustained activity. That is what stored body fat is for. If you eat foods that promote using your body fat as fuel vs glucose, you should do better.

Sorry, I have a problem understanding sarcasm.

Not all carbs are the same, and I would love to know why you cant have any animal products.
-
I don't blame you, sugar is addictive.

I am not upset or anything. I laughed myself at this response, but I also want to make it known that I think this is a serious issue. People who shame or insult others on things important to them are the only ones I have a problem with.

As funny as that may be, it shows who is not interested in learning about nutrition. Makes it easy to point out who's opinions are likely based on their own nutritional religion rather than actual facts.
-
If you are looking for foods that dont leave you crashing and burning out at the end of the day, try eating foods higher in fat and avoid high glycemic ones.

It would seem if you juice a fruit, you are practicaly getting all the calories out of it and leaving alot of good things behind. I personaly never thought this was a good idea, and feel it is best to eat the whole fruit.

I think grass fed beef vs grain/corn fed, pasture raised pigs and chickens from local farms if you can. Lots of veggies, no chemicals or processed foods.

I agree, most things I have read indicate that exercise is great for increasing your health and strength, but contributes to fat loss a great deal less than most people think. Overdoing it will likely do more harm than good. http://www.workoutbox.com/blog/weight-loss/losing-weight-is-about-80-percent-diet/

What worked for me was raising my fat intake to 50% of calories, but removing processed oils. Lowering my carb intake including removing grains and sugars. Eating low glycemic carbs when you do have them. Going for a walk or bike ride once in a while was all I did. I think weight lifting as an exersize is the best…

Somtimes I will go a few months and have it every day, and sometimes I will abstain from it for a few months. I never noticed any difference in the way I felt. Most research I have read indicate it may react poorly depending on any pre-existing conditions. But it seems to be fairly nutral otherwise. I do have a kind of…

I think that eliminating grains from my diet had one of the biggest benifits of any diet choice I have ever made.
