I found that increasing my fat intake and looking for nutrient dense foods reduced my desire for sweet things.

I don't count fiber as part of the total carbs, it doesn't work as fuel for your body even though it technicaly is a carb.

I try to not go over 2300 calories = Carbs 15% (about 85 grams) Protein 35% (about 200 grams) Fat 50% (about 125 grams) I also try to make sure that the carbs I do eat are low glycemic. So no grains sugars or legumes, and only a small amount of fruit or dark chocolate on occasion. Also I think it is important to note that…

ribs, burgers and brats ;)

I know this is slightly against what your asking for, but my 2 cents are that meat, or eggs would be the way to go

calorie restriction is not the same as zero calories. Your body will not burn fat untill its glucose stores are gone.

I think it is biologicaly impossible to exersize more and eat less. As you can not run a machine harder without more fuel. You need the nutrition to keep your body functioning properly, and activity should be to increase your ability to remove glucose from your blood so your body can use its fat stores as energy.

do you mean Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle? If so, its not realy a question. More an idea that when measuring a particle we need to take into account that light itself alters the measurments. Therefore, we can never actualy see what the measurement is supposed to be, only asume what it is based on the math. - more or…

lol, i usualy take a very scientific approach to everything. which usualy leads to "why do you have to make things so complicated". However that scientific aproach has lead me to my success in weight loss and becoming healthy.

I believe cashiews are a good choice too. But my all time favorite, and one that I think alot forget about, is coconut. Try coconut butter or coconut manna, it puts peanut butter to shame.

I think it can be had for an affordable cost as well. I get my meat from an all pasture raised, grass feeding farm called 8 oclock ranch and their ground beef is only $3.50 a lb

I personaly have taken the rout of atempting to include real foods that contain the vitamins and minerals I was lacking as opposed to supliments. My doctor thinks I have done well in that reguard, and my blood tests are very good now. I think it may be a better alternitave to pills and shakes and overly processed foods…

I agree, I do find it interesting that many vegitarians here claim they showed signs of symptoms previous to leaving meat out of the diet. There are confounding variables for sure. I am curious if one where say exibiting signs of a mental disorder and then treated for that disorder, if they would then be less likely to…

lol, I was thinking the same thing

I don't know for sure, but I'd say watching the science channel vs watching the kardashians might be a variable there.

You might want to try stevia instead of truvia. Truvia is a combo of stevia + sugar alchohol. If you are sencitive to sugar alchohols, perhaps stevia on its own wouldnt be a problem.

lol, that sounds like the right plan to me

Ground pork burger stuffed with asiago and blue cheese, topped with cheddar, with a side of steamed green beans and sautéed mushrooms and onions, also topped with cheddar. 917 calories

I used to pick it over others cause its extra creamy and good, but I tend to avoid yogurt now due to the large amount of sugar most of them have :(
-
lol, I'm glad I am not the only one who was confused by that

There are legitimate reasons to take them, but I would just throw caution to anyone who wanted to use them for weight loss assistance or for slightly elevated blood pressure.

side effects for beta blockers include heart attack and stroke, not worth it imo

String cheese is pretty good, its got a good amount of protein so its fairly satasfying.

I love pistachios, they aren't exactly low calorie, but they satisfy me so quickly that it doesn't matter.
-
I mean no offence, I would support it, but it was just a really bad experience.

I would have to agree, we tried it here and found it to be a huge waste. also, on the topic of cleanses http://www.marksdailyapple.com/are-detoxes-and-cleanses-safe-and-effective/#axzz1pnx2QzUB
