• Nothing better than hearing "eat more fat" :) I am going to eat some bacon today :)
• Thank you for the laugh. I personally made alot of dirt pies as a kid and ate them. lol
As much dirt as I ate as I child I should be cleaned out by now. I also got some of the best water out of the water hose too and I am still alive.
• Unfortunatly this is something that happens with or with out the Whey. I will have one week a month that I am fine and that usually around TOM. But then I will go right back to everyother day or worse once a week. It is tough but I have learned to get around it. It just hurts this time.
• @arliah LOL!! That would have made a great story!!! I may have to try it again and keep it short. How long did you steep it? @LaWoman72 I am not a big prune girl. I had to take some while pregnant and that did me in. Maybe in 25 years I could do them again :)
• @mattc772014 I have some of that at home and tried to drink it before and it was like licking a tree. I am not sure I can do it again but if I get desperate I will drink that tree and deal :)
• I was going twice a day for a few days since I had started the ISO Whey but now I just hurt. I am going to have to change something to get this moving.
• I drink tons of water. My only deviation from that is milk with my ISO Whey and a cup of coffee and hot tea. So water is my friend. I usually use butter to make my egg in the morning and put butter on my broccoli at lunch when I cook it. I am going to have to bring in some Almonds and peanut butter for snack in the…
• I will have to try some of these things. This really sucks and I am tired of this battle. Any suggestions on what would be good dietary fiber? I am eating more peanut butter or trying to...
• Good luck and keep at it! 10 months is a long way off to keep a goal so don't lose sight of it! You are on the right track, and this forum is a great place to get advice.
I find that if I pay for something then I will do it. If I find my mileage is doing better then I might try to squeeze one in early but right…
• https://www.fitbit.com/user/23VZDK Feel free to add me. I don't leave home with out mine :)
• I think I am going to work on my mileage some and see how I feel when I get into longer runs. I have a goal of running a half by October.
• @BrianSharpe‌ I have been working this week to increase my calories and reach my 1500 calorie goal. I also tend to run on an empty stomach. This past Saturday I did eat a peanut butter sandwich before running since I knew I was going to try 5 miles. I can see where the crb intake will help. Do you find this is a boost over…
• I am still working on my pace and time. I do have asthma so that coupled with the cold hurts my first mile and I find it hard to keep my energy after fighting to breathe. I do not have as many problems when the air is above 40. Anything under that and i work a bit harder. I was just looking for something to help me push a…
• Right now I am using Cardio Igniter to start out my work outs. But I have found that the longer I run the more it seems to wear off. I dont know if I am getting a tolerance to it or what. but ran across the gels and wasnt sure if it really helped or not. I will look into those and see what I like. I dont do well with weird…
• Feel free to add me. I am up for some Challenges :) https://www.fitbit.com/user/23VZDK
• I have a hard time working out when it is below 20 degress. My asthma makes it very hard to breathe in cold air. But I find that if I layer and then put something over my mouth I can breathe in warmer air and it doesnt bother me as much. But I still choose to work out inside on some mornings when I just don't want to put…
• It was really tough for me after my son came 7/2013. I had to have a CSection and wasnt able to bounce back like I normally do. Then in November I broke my wrist and that set me back even more. I will say that I felt horrible in my own skin. I was overjoyed with my little miracle baby but was not happy with what I had done…
• Feel free to add me. I log everyday and would love to have new friends.
• Keep moving forward. Each day is new. I tell you those first few days really are tough but everyday pushes you to do a little more each day. I find that I miss working out when for whatever reason I cant work out or on rest days. you can do this. Add me as a friend if you would like.
• I have never heard of them before. What do you do with them and where do you find them?
• I guess it is almost like me drinking Emerg-C every morning. I don't know if it will really help me not get sick or if it is just a huge boost of Vit C but I still drink it because it is something different other than just water.
• @mkegal You are absolutley right. I am not looking for a magic cure to weight loss. Just some times before my monthly it might be nice to get some of that bloated feeling to be gone. I know it isn't a "get rich quick" scheme just didnt know if this was something that others had tried or if it was going to work. I am all…
• I was just looking for something different. I am not one to try any fads. I like to eat too much, that is why I am here. I don't like to replace anything for eating real foods. @jfp420 That is exatly what I am looking at. Just thinking about trying something different to drink and didn't know if it would actually do…
• Lol. It is actually mostly water and I usually drink quite a bit of water through out the day and still can't seem to get on a good down ward track of loosing weight. Came across this and thought about mixing it up. Just didn't know if anyone had tried it.
• You sure can. Just let me know :)
• There are some great runs in Charlotte!! I have looked a doing a few of those! I am still slow but can run an 11 minute mile. It is getting there but I love it. It is 30-40 minutes of quiet time :)
• Awesome! Couch to Fridge is good exercise :) What is Keto?
• Feel free to add me. I have a 15 year old and a 16 month old. So it is always a challenge to fit everything in around thier schedule.
• Feel free to add me. I am always looking for new friends and motivators.
• thanks guys. I am still on the fence about buying some. I get about 75-80 grams of protein a day in just what I eat. But I can see the benefits of drinking it before workouts or as a late night snack. I think I might just need to try it out.
