  • Also on your question about how to cut costs. I did a Vegas wedding with just parents and then a reception back home, but for the reception I picked a venue that had everything. We did an appetizer buffet which was more food than most people even wanted for a dinner and then that included a build your own sundae bar so we…
  • We had a few kegs and then a red and white option for wine. That was free until it ran out (which it did not) and anything else people wanted was cash. We also provided free unlimited pop which was nice for people that may have had a flask or just wanted a drink without alcohol. It worked out very well. Providing beer…
  • I think even if everyone is the same height they will carry the weight differently. That has been part of my struggle with trying to figure out what my goal weight should be. I have lowered it a few times as I've gotten close and can tell I still need to lose more to get rid of the fat. I'm 5'1 SW: 215 CW: 138 GW: 125
  • 95% of the time I will log my whole day the night before. I like to plan out each thing I'm going to have so that I know what I can and can't have. The only real time I don't is if I'm going out, but I don't know where to yet. I find I get hungry if I don't log it in advance. Then I want to munch. When I got it ahead I…
  • Each time I go I pay attention to what I eat and splurge a little, but not a ton. Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is probably your healthiest option as they have a lot of fresh ingredients grown there that they use. Most quick service places will have a salad as an option and they have been adding more and more grilled…
  • I've been living off Old Navy jeans because they are nice and not too expensive (plus they are on sale a lot). I have never had an issue with them shrinking at all, but they do stretch some as I wear them vs right out of the dryer. If you're worried about them shrinking you could always wash them and cold and then line dry…
  • I used to only eat after working out because I had been told that you burn more calories if you eat within 45 minutes of working out (I'm not sure how true that is). I then has started working out in the morning and always was getting sick so now I eat a 120 calorie organic granola bar before working out to give my body…
  • I had tightened my strap because it was starting to feel loose and then i got the same message while working out. I loosened up the strap then a little bit more and it was fine.
  • Unfortunately, Disney does not release nutritional information for their items. You can always try asking (I have not been there yet while on this diet so I have not tired asking). You can view ALL menus online at www.allears.net. They are always updating the menus with changes. I have a couple trips coming up there and I…
  • Great work! I am the same height and about where you started with a similar end goal so thanks for the motivation!
  • Yup, get a food scale. I got one for about $20 from target. Works well and is a great investment.
  • Archer Farms (target) Organic Real Fruit Strips. There are many kinds. I get the strawberry which are 45 calories a strip.
  • My plan for vacations is to not log it and then not weigh myself until a week after I'm back on my diet and workout plan. Granted I probably will step on it out of curiosity, but I'm going to try to not step on that scale for a week!
  • Like I said movie theatre popcorn is not healthy, but I was offering a way to make it a little healthier. I honestly could do without popcorn because I'm not a big fan, but my boyfriend loves it and so this is how we do it and again if we budget it we can make it work for all of the nutrition counts and guess high on the…
  • Yes high in fat and sodium, but you can fund the full counts online for some theatres and I have always been able to budget ALL nutrition info into my 1200 calorie diet including sodium and fat (I am very strict about it). So again it is possible. And hot dogs typically have more sodium than popcorn at least in my…
  • We either do Papa Murphy's or do a Jack's Frozen Pizza when we need a pizza fix. Both are "low calorie" for pizza.
  • I got the FT4 on sale at target the other week. I don't think i'd ever need more than it does. It's perfect. Really happy I decided to get one and get that one.
  • i have the same thing. they will be on fire for a while, but on my toes and sides of my feet and then eventually kind of go numb. Its really annoying. I switched shoes at one point which did help for a while. I can usually power through it now.
  • I'm a huge margarita person so I think they are ok, but a real one is obviously much better. My issue is that 1 serving is 4 fluid oz and that is 100 calories, but really who is only going to drink 1 fluid oz? 1 shot = 1.5 fluid oz.. so for me a small glass FULL of ice is more like 200 calories and thats just not worth it…
  • Is there a specific Polar one you guys recommend?
  • I really like this recipe which i can fit into my 1200 calories diet, but it is high in sodium so I might try to start changing the recipe a little. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/speedy-spaghetti/Detail.aspx I also plan to try this one. http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/spaghetti_with_quick_meat_sauce.html

  • Might not be the "healthiest" but it is quick, fast, and yummy. I'm having grilled cheese and some fruit. Market Pantry - Old Fashion Sandwich Bread, Wheat, 2 slice 160 calories Market Pantry - Deli Cheese Slices - Sharp Cheddar, 1 slice 70 calories Crystal Farms - American Singles, 1 Slice 60 calories I Can't Believe It's…
  • Of yes of course. Forgot about that. I can adjust mine, but currently have it all on the lowest incline and resistance to ease back into it all
  • I know I have seen people post that they log their time walking as walking and the jogging as jogging so you enter 2 different exercises. I am using an elliptical so I'm sort of averaging what my machine says and what the app says.
  • I'm a total cereal junkie. i'd eat it every meal if I could. I rotate between Corn Flakes, Special K and Cheerios. I really miss Wheaties too, but the price got too high for the amount you get.
