I've lost (so far, still have more to lose) around 25 lbs doing a combination of Cardio & strength training while counting calories. :heart: It's the only way that I've been able to successfully lose weight. That's awesome!! Hang with her, she'll wring some sweat out of ya for sure! I lost 9 inches overall and 9 pounds doing the Shred. (even though I had breaks in between, I didn't do 30 days straight... LOL!) I felt stronger & more toned afterward, too! :heart: Totally worth the work. :happy:

Day 2/Week 1... Done! My HRM gives me a burn of anywhere between 400-600, depending on how much effort I can put into it. I'm 198 lbs (which is awesome considering my all time highest was 232!!) & cardio really gets me winded, which I'm sure is where I get a lot of my burn from. Checking in... This past week I didn't do TOO bad. I pretty much stayed within my calories. (until Saturday, any way... :laugh: ) I did indulge a little too much at Chili's and ended up getting what I probably shouldn't have. I got their Cajun pasta with grilled shrimp. Weighed in today (thursday 8/4)... 205 lbs !! YAY!! Have been able to stay within my calories. I'm a big fruit person when it comes to healthy snacking. Apples, grapes, plums, nectarines, bananas, cantaloupe, cherries.. the list goes on. :smile: I also will use celery (sometimes with a little natural peanut butter) or carrots for a crunchy snack.
