  • When I was very young my mom went to a few meetings. I vaguely remember them but I do recall her enjoying herself. If that is any help at all.
  • Looks like you had a great time!
  • That sounds like so much fun! You should all ride the carousal since it's right there! LOL
  • Everything that you've done thus far is very encouraging and I understand your frustration. Just remember that you have hundreds of people on this website cheering for you!
  • Thanks so much. They sound great!
  • I suggest making it very clear to them that you have set eating habits and that you are trying to lose weight. Just make sure they understand what you are doing and hopefully they will respect that by not tempting you. Good luck, that must be hard!
  • The engineer wasn't too hard on the eyes either:wink: I might have to start watching Disney more often. lol
  • I'm going on vacation and would really like to bring a healthy trail mix along for the long car ride and to bring to the beach, anyone have any good recipes? Preferably without nuts except for peanuts are ok. Thanks

  • Well yesterday, when I posted, it said I should get 1,486 calories( up from 1,300 because of excersize), and I consumed 1,289 and really couldn't eat anything more. So, do I consume the rest of the calories even if I'm not hungry or not? Thanks for your help everyone!
  • Definatly continue what you are doing. Just make sure that when you are doing ab excersizes you are holding your stomach in so that you don't end up with a rock hard belly. That happend to a friend of mine.

Set the rules: no junk food, minimal amount of excersize, healthy food choices. When he succeeds, give him a small reward, like allowing him to have a friend sleepover or maybe buying him a new…
  • Next week I'm going for a week long vacation in Cape Cod and we're bringing much of our food. Does anyone know of any non-perishable foods that aren't carbohydrates? I feel like when I travel that's all I eat.
  • I do pageants so I'm trying to lose weight and get in shape before I have to compete in the swimsuit division next year. So far, this seems like a cool program.
