This so much. Before I started losing weight I thought I'd be fat forever because I just don't like healthy foods, I never have and I never will. Then I realised I can lose weight eating pretty much the same stuff I was before just way less of it. All my meals are basically the same as they were 6 months ago, just less of…

When I first started losing weight I knew I overate day to day but I honestly thought only by a little, it wasn't until I actually logged everything that I realised I was a greedy pig lol, I was eating twice the calories I needed per day, often even more. It wasn't that I was eating massive amounts, I was just eat high…

That you can't lose weight unless you only eat rabbit food. I make delicious homemade pizza every week and it's not an issue, it hasn't hurt my weight loss the past 6 months so I doubt it ever will. When I tell friends I had pizza for dinner they're shocked like it's not possible to lose weight unless you only eat salads.

Update your goal on MFP to 2lbs/week, the site will tell you how many calories to eat to lose that weight. Basically cut out as much junk food as possible and stay within your limits, MFP does all the thinking for you. And you can still eat food you enjoy within reason, for example I still make homemade pizza every week…

45lbs down and still fatter than 98% in my country, damn. I sometimes forget how big I was, and how big I still am.
-
I'm over on sodium probably 2 days a week, but way under the other 5.
-
I think it's just the way you see yourself, I've lost 45lbs but I still see myself as the same when I'm clearly not as I've gone from 5xl - 2xl. Scumbag brain is all it is, I find looking at photos helps, for some reason I can see the difference more in a picture than in the mirror.
-
I have 1780 calories a day for a 2lb/week loss, it's working remarkably well.
-
It's funny, I'm 12lbs away from being medically overweight instead of obese and I can't wait, I hate that word so much. I started off nearly obese III.
-
I'm from England so about 1800, Christmas will be my first real test but I won't gorge too much, it's just not worth it. That being said I know I'll eat more than usual, probably around 2500.
-
Don't we all? I would kill for a Big Mac, large fries and large strawberry milkshake, but I'd feel guilty and depressed the second I'd finished it. Why can't McDonald's be healthy :(
-
I try to only weigh myself Saturday morning, but temptation usually creeps in mid week.
-
I weighed myself at night and was 4lbs heavier than in the morning. The body is a strange beast.
-
More than half of my daily calories are eaten at dinner, I have a small breakfast, small lunch and most of my snacks at night and it has done me no harm.
-
I eat whatever I want while keeping within everything MFP recommends. I tried to diet in the past and failed every time because I don't like rabbit food, counting calories means I can still have delicious, homemade pizza every week while still losing 2lbs a week (42 total).

I started at just over 21 stone and my goal weight is 16 stone. I'm currently 18.3 stone and if I'm not happy at my goal I will lose more. I'm 6ft 3 so I don't want to be too skinny, but I also want to completely lose my fat bits. And I just realised I hit 3 stone today, I'm not good at math apparently :D

I was doing T-25 5 days a week but got completely sick of exercising so I stopped 3 weeks ago and it hasn't hurt my weight loss at all, calorie counting is more important for weight loss, exercise is for fitness. I'm still getting 2lbs/week with no exercise, although I will start strength training on Monday as I feel…

I'm going to eat what I want on Christmas day, it's one day of the year and I'm not going to worry about weight loss for 24 hours, if that means I lose no weight for the week so be it.
-
You gotta log. I plan everything I'm going to eat the day before and it really helps.
-
I'm 40lbs down and I haven't bought any new clothes yet as I can't afford to buy more now and in another 30lbs, so everything is pretty baggy on me. I'm really looking forward to going into a normal store and buying some clothes I like instead of going to [insert big and tall website] and buying whatever fits.

Happens to me, one day I've lost nothing, the next I've lost 4lbs for the week. The human body is the ultimate troll.
-
I have a crazy sleep schedule and I eat in the am every day and it doesn't affect the scale for me.
-
That's what I did when I got my new scale, except I used 4 2litre bottles of water. Turned out my old scales were a few lbs too generous.
-
Just wanted to let you all know that the scale has finally started to move again. This week I ate more as suggested and I took a week off from exercise and I lost 4lbs! It's been weeks since I had a good loss and I'm so happy. That's 38lbs total with about the same to go.
-
Thank you all for your support and advice. I've decided to take next week off from exercise to rest my body and mind, I will also try and eat more.
-
Yeah I'm still doing T25, week 4 of Alpha is done.
-
Well another week, another weigh in and I lost nothing, nada. Now I'm really depressed. It took a lot of effort to continue working out this week and once again I got no result. It's amazing how eating the same and working out the same worked so well for months and now it's not working at all. I've been reading up as to…

Have all my fat bits gone? If yes I'm at my goal, if no then I need to keep on losing.
-
I've lost 34lbs and I don't see it in my body, I see it a little in my face.
-
Thank you all for the kind words. I guess I just got "greedy" for big losses on the scale, and when it didn't happen it was a shock to the system. I'm nearly half way on my weight loss so I really don't want to relapse, this time next year I want to be done and happy, not back where I started. As for exercise I've been…
