  • I started wearing a HRM and found that the actual calories burned are far less than the estimate on MFP. For instance, 7 miles stationary bike + 20 minutes strength is only 170 calories for me. sad, but true.
  • I have going to WW since January. Unlike others, I found the meetings helpful for the first couple of weeks. Then it became a burden to go and always listen to the individuals who took control of the meeting. Just saying, it's not therapy. Did not like that. I lost for many weeks and then just stopped. I work out a lot.…
  • Thanks. Sold that junk on Amazon. It is such a real pull for those that want to lose weight "the easy way". There is no easy way. Diet and Exercise. That is all. Sucks but true.
  • The 3 month supply was the way it was marketed from the ambassador I purchased through. Then he hooked me up with a facebook page for ambassadors. Any time any question was asked regarding diet or exercise, it was immediately deleted. When I wrote a post about physical issues from taking plexus, it was deleted; I was…
  • Well that is not exactly true. If you purchased a 3 month supply under the Plexus ambassador program, you are not entitled to SQUAT after 5 days. The 60 money back guarantee does not apply. I DID not AND DO not want to distribute, I bought a 3 month supply to simply save money. My host neglected to advise. Go figure. I am…
  • Yes, this happens to me and my friends. So if I wear snug shoes, correct fitting this always occurs. I have a pair of trainers 1/2 size larger than I need and there is no tingling.
  • Well, that is Food or Drink for thought! Thanks a bunch. I copied this to my email. I have never ventured far from lemon and limes.
  • I could NOT and DID NOT like the 30 DS. I am 51 and workout like crazy, weights, all kinds of cardio, zumba, etc. Found the 30DS was too much for me.
  • I tried and tried to do 30 Day Shred. After 2 weeks decided was not for me. One has to take in to consideration their age and ability when choosing workouts. Personally found Turbo Jam fun and productive without killing myself. Good luck to you with the shred. I hope it works out. It you hurt that much though, maybe listen…
  • Wish I could say the same! I am good all day and late at night that chip calls me and I go to it! Happy New Year!
  • Sitting at my mothers funeral this past January, I overheard people saying the same about me. I felt horrible, then decided you know what, they are right, I let myself go and got myself going. So have lost 24lbs, feel pretty good, stopped and now started again for another 7 lbs. I wish you the best!:flowerforyou:
  • MFP is close, but a HRM is best! I use Polar for accurate counts.
  • Hi. I just started Zumba for Wii yesterday. Oh my gosh, what a workout. I wear a reliable HRM, it says I burned 200 calories for the 20 beginner workout and I can believe that!! My weight takes in a factor. I am 150 lbs and weight is important when figuring calorie burn. It is very close in calories to aerobics, high…
  • Well, I finally got on the scale after my cruise and the holidays. Sad to say gained 6 lbs from my lowest weight in August. So, back to MFP, back to regular exercise. Think it is probably a good reminder that our bodies need regular exercise and proper nutrition. Good luck to you. I am going to go ZUMBA now!
  • I know its hard but my best piece of advice to just try to get through each minute at first, then 5 mins, then 10 and so on and so forth. I quit smoking 5 years ago and knock myself out while working out today. Good luck to you. Quitting smoking is so important for your kids too. Unfortunately, I did it too late and my son…
  • I read an article on msn.com yesterday. Very risky business and not worth it at all!
  • Thanks all!:flowerforyou:
  • Thank you, this is what I thought and I guess needed to hear this from someone other than my husband! I do feel great!
  • I am proud to watch people of all sizes come here and endure and lose to become happier and healthier people. No one says it will be easy, but just 1 day at a time or 1 hour or 1 minute, whatever it takes to get you through. You will soon begin to feel the new you not wanting to eat as much or junk food. I am so proud to…
  • Wendys side salads are very low calorie..get a couple with fat free dressing and you are good to go!
  • I love Wendys, their chili is good and low cal and you can also get a side salad......You can find nutritional facts on any chains online. It's worth the time, you would be surprised at the calories that these salads have!
  • Thanks a bunch. Like the Kashi product, cheapest to buy in Walmart. Even better, free!
  • You can lose weight this way but won't gain muscle. You need to incorporate other activities to get a lean firm body. Nowadays, you can buy videos on ebay for less than $10. I recommend Turbo Jam and 30 day shred. You can do as little as 20 minutes per day and really workout a sweat, burn calories and look great! Good luck…
  • I have been using the Biggest Loser Wii program for the past 6 months. It has been an intense ride starting at beginning level now up to ultimate level and and so fit. I now am moving on to Turbo Jam and 30 Shred to shake things up a bit. I highly recommend Biggest Loser. Good luck.
  • The chest strap makes for the most effective monitoring. It is pretty flush and hardly noticeable. Often, I have mine on for 6 hrs or more without any discomfort.
  • I lOVE Atkins Dark Chocolate Shakes. It's yummy and filling!
  • Too big, my size 12 pants Too small, all the new size 6 pants I purchased....figure will keep me going...while I have a couple of stretch things to wear in between!
  • You can go with Panera's Garden Vegetable Soup or Low Fat Chicken Noodle Soup. Add a whole grain baguette, I believe the total is 360 calories. Also low calorie in Wendy's chili.
  • I feel your pain, I am in the same boat, gained weight this week and so disappointed, it made me cry! Hang in there, we'll get through it!
  • Calorie cycling worked for me. And the weight loss began immediately after starting this. I range anywhere from 1250 - 1644 calories daily. It is really nice to change things up too!:flowerforyou:
