I went through this (my youngest is now 2). I would suggest looking up breastfeeding as an exercise, that way it will adjust your macros automatically (I always made sure to get enough protein and calcium while breastfeeding). 500 calories while ebf is what I added but you'll have to see how your body works with that…

My son is 16 months, also. I log 300 everyday but my weight loss has stalled since I hit 10 lbs over my goal weight.

What brand of protein are you using? I use biochem vegan protein. It's a mix of pea, hemp and cranberry. Another thing you could try is making protein bars, those are a little better taste wise.
