I like it. I think it's an easy to follow guidelines. It's "carb cycling"...I haven't done it in a while, but I don't really see anythign "wrong" with it, and can be adapted to your lifestyle. I now do my low carb days after the weekend. lol!

I too, only get to work out on my lunch hour. I usually do weights for 30 minutes. (Not as sweaty as cardio). If I have time, I add cardio later in the day. It works for me! And I too have a "bad back"...2 herniated discs..but find if I keep up on my exerices, and keep gaining strength in my abs and back..my back is better!

try different brands of Stevia. I've tried 3-4 and only like the Trader Joe version so far.... I thought Truvia was disgusting. You also have to be careful not to use too much stevia, or everything tastes bitter!

Also, try different brands of the greek yogurts....Personally, I hate the yoplait and kroger brands..but I like Trader Joes, and chobani, for example... You can also try mixing in your regular yoplait with cottage cheese. (I actually food process my CC so it's smooth and mix 1/2 cc and 1/2 flavored yogurt)...

I never work out when I'm sick. Sometimes, I do very low intensity cardio if it's a cold to get the sinuses moving. You're body is fighting to get better. Let it help itself get better. you won't make any gains if you workout while you are sick. You need more sleep than you do a workout.

I'm doing the "green smoothie" thing in the morning. That way if I dont' eat any other veggies all day long, I still got some in! I also make a lot of spaghetti squash...and eat it like spaghetti w/tomato sauce and Parmesan!

Yes, support your local bike store. Kmart/Meijer/Walmart bikes are not good enough! And you'll be thankful in the long run to have a good bike that fits and is easy to ride! And think of how much more fat you'll drop when you do start riding like a kid again :-)
