I say, if it helps you eat more greens and vegetables, I would do it. There's often times I'm crunched on time, and it's either a "kit" or fast food. Guess which one is better?

Thanks for sharing. It doesn't even have to be extreme. My husband wiped out on a straight away flat trail and got conked out for a few minutes/seconds. ALWAYS tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back. We think it's silly to do this , because we are not in some remote location, but it can happen.

also, can you keep nuts at work? Those are easy to keep in your pocket or your desk drawer to snack on during the day... I do that when I'm on site at customer locations, and can't bring protein bars or fruit or whatever... (just don't eat too many!)

1) dont' keep the chips in the house!! 2) you aren't eating enough during the day. I have recently upped my protein by a little bit (seriously, like 20 g worth during the day) and I'm am no longer "starving" when I get home and devouring every bad thing in site at home. Make sure you are eating enough during the day!

I always make mine the night before and they are fine the next day. Sometimes the coloring looks a little off, or you hae to shake them up a bit. If you're concerned about the color, add a little lemon juice so the fruit doesn't brown.

I had one that didn't work whenever I did the INSANITY workout...especially when I was bent over. I actually sent it back to the mfr, and tried 2 new watches and 2 new transmitters. It works better, but still goes out when I'm upside down.

I wouldn't go w/slimfast as it has a lot of other crap in it. Actually, I bought Kroger's unflavored gelatin...it's 7G of protein. Have you been eating carbs? I get super tired and grumpy if I don't get enough. Don't' need a ton..but if I don't eat any but veggies..I'm soo extremely tired.

There's a lot of training workouts on the web for this. The biggest thing I can suggest is you need the "saddle" time. Usually your squish parts get sore long before the legs. The rule of thumb...if you can ride 50 miles, you'll be able to do 77...

Yes, and I'm not sure. Maybe try something new with the diet? Sometimes that gets me motivated.. I know people will yell, but following a pre-determined diet plan sometimes helps get me over the edge.

Doing body weight lunges is NOT a waste of time. Start small. Eventually you will get your balance on the lunges. Hang onto the wall or a pole if you have to. Try backward lunges or walking lunges. When I started, you didn't have to pay for trainers, it was part of the gym..so basically I had a personal trainer. i think it's worth the money to get the form correct so you don't hurt yourself.
