I pay $20.95 a fortnight for all all casses and 24 hour gym access but my gym is a fairly small chain with most gyms located in country Vic. Definitely worth it IMO I go in late at night quite often.

Yeah protein is crucial for your muscles and as you use them a lot more when exercising you need to consume more protein, it's all good though protein is great for the body! the most important of your macros in my opinion, especially when exercising.

There are plenty of times where I don't really feel like exercising but I know it can be a slippery slope from "I'm only going to miss one day, it won't matter" to that happening more and more regularly. Best thing to do is find exercises you really enjoy, then it doesn't feel like a chore.

Log it, it's hard to have a day that is that bad that would even ruin an entire week let alone do any damage to your loss, still have to have fun :)

I've lost 26kg's so far since joining MFP, it's by no means the sole reason for my loss though but it's good to be able to plan my days food and know how many calories I am consuming

Yeah sorry may have put that a bit more enthusiastically than I should have, strength gains have been quite huge personally (on squat, DL, Bench) but as far as muscle goes I'm sure there has been some but at the same time it may just be becoming more defined as I lose weight.

Haha low-carb/hgh-carb doesn't affect my mood in any way...... coffee on the other hand though, that's a different story ;)

You can do both at the same time, essentially you'll be building muscle and decreasing your body fat, so far I have lost 26kg's and certainly gained plenty of muscle along the way through most of my exercise being heavy weights coupled with a high protein diet. Not so much for night snacks but I find myself banking calories through the week for times when I know I'll be going out on a weekend to a restaurant or to a bar/club for a few beers.

What actually counts as low carb? I eat minimal amounts of carbs at the moment (between 80-150g a day) and find it works for me really well. Still have days where I have more than that obviously if I have a few beers or something but 95% of the time I keep it low-ish.

Finding nice looking clothes that fit, for blokes at least all clothes that are XXXL and above all seem to just be sloppy and boring so it makes it hard to find something good to wear out.
