Congrats on losing 40lbs! Its a great achievement. WTG. I am a zero on meds. But I am sure your Doc must know better on the side-effects it has on the food-habits and metabolism. Good that you have cut down the two main culprits - soda and junk food. Diet(Good foodhabits) is the main key for weight loss..exercise comes…

Oh.. Carry low-calorie snacks to your work..There are plenty of options available in Myfitnesspal. Both tasty and filling. Drink water and sugar-free-drinks alternatively and then slowly reduce the sugar-free-drinks intake. Workout- in the weekends may be? Go for healthy diet and workout plans in the weekends? Log your…

Any other BC method? without any side-effects?

Yeah.. People need to believe and acknowledge our effort. Its not a easy thing to say NO to our favorite food. It feels good when people do recognize our efforts and compliment us! Even if its a small victory of 1lbs drop or a old cloth fitting now.

People around me push me - but to eat more food... For them, i have reached my goal(but i haven't yet) so they want me to go back eating "Normal" food.. To avoid their pleas is my biggest challenge!

My work routine is almost the same.. I leave for work at 8 am and travel 3hours to and fro everyday for work. But i make sure to go to gym in the evening and then go back home mainly because once i step inside home I get too lazy to step out again and i can't leave my baby..yes.. i am a mom to 10 months old boy so i rarely…

Weekends are the main culprit. And the second one is my hubby who wants to go out on weekends for buffet!! I try as much i can to avoid atleast the desserts.. if not, on weekends i go for lunch buffet and avoid dinner totally so that my calories are still under the target ones.

Hi, My journey is also similar. I came down from 183lbs to 138 now. I have the last 13-15lbs to lose.. All the best!!

True that. His love is and was the same always. Infact he wants me to eat and stay healthy. Poor him, i should stop getting angry at him at petty things. He becomes v.sad when i am angry and that's all he does, doesn't even talks back - just says " its not healthy to become angry like this". But yesterday was day 1 without…

Eat back my calories? :anguished: I will try that may be for an week but i have become so much obsessed with this weight-loss - its really hard :disappointed:
-
True!!! I will try UPing for a few days and check the difference.

Yes.. I do exercise . Minimum 4 to 5 days a week. Per session 1.5 hour. I agree that it reduces stress and i tend to be a happy person (only the day i workout). Post workout - after a day - i become moody.. May be i should exercise everyday

Weekends!!! Mu DH feels that i have reached my goal..Though i have 13lbs to go! He says i look good now and says to eat normally and often wants to go out on weekends or orders outside food. When i try avoiding, he keeps on saying 'only one' and feeds me..then i feel guilty. Also i seldom go to gym on weekends coz its the…

I fear that it may make my weight-loss plan hit a plateau
-
Thanks for the info... i'll try meeting the fat requirements..
-
Actually, I lose 1lbs a week consistently.
-
1200 calories max( vary between 1100-1200).. I stay little under or meet the macros as per the fitnesspal chart. I go less on the fat percentage.
-
I have to try that.. But in minimal may be!
-
Yes.. People around me are very understanding and composed. But it was under control. Since i started dieting(deficit) , i am no longer able to control (Effectively) my anger. I speak and hurt others before thinking.

All the best !! You have taken your first step..that requires applause!! We all have our down and up days, but we must reach the goal - that's what is important! BTW, I am not an emotional eater but an emotional-No-eater - I get angry on silly things and show it on DH and food by avoiding both!! :disappointed:

My motivation is the criticisms i happen to hear on my back when i gained weight. People who were really concerned about my weight, told to me politely on my face. But those who mocked me behind my back fueled my motivation fire!! My mother and hubby for their constant compliments are other reasons for my weight…
