I'm not a sweet tooth but I LOVE Diet Coke (and Coke Zeros okay too I guess). Diet Soda in general is pretty decent. I can't taste the difference between some of them like Grape sodas.

That looks pretty good and I don't even have a sweet tooth.

I don't know how good this is, but this one challenges me so far. http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/09/beginner-body-weight-workout-burn-fat-build-muscle/ 26 year old male just looking to lose maybe 10-15 pounds mostly bellyfat.

Walked an hour and a half. I could barely make it back up the steps to my apartment because I was doing squats yesterday.. my legs were broken this morning I could barely sit down to use the bathroom. I can't even sit in a chair I had to plop down in my bed.

Slightly off topic - what's a good higher protein junk food? I'm really good at eating healthy foods, but sometimes I want something bad. I already have difficulty getting enough protein in me.

I always used to like doing pullups. Is that a good thing I can do on the off days as suggested by that link? It seems to be a different muscle group and I didn't hate that exercise. I'd rather not do cardio. I don't like it and I know someone who is very in shape and he never does cardio. Just weight training. Maybe if I…

The pushups etc weren't hard for me, but those lunges and squats killed me. I guess that answers what I need to work on.

^ That's good advice. I guess I'll give up most of my alcohol. It's a crutch. Maybe I'll drink in moderation one day a week. I completely change my mind about exercise. I just did 2 of those workout runs I just replied to, and I am winded already. I am really out of shape. Like, I'm sweating and breathing hard. Who knows,…

I'll see if I can find it. In the meantime, what do you think about the video that another poster linked? http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/09/beginner-body-weight-workout-burn-fat-build-muscle/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvhHhDNjtxM I think it seems simple enough. I can easily do this. If I maintain doing this a…

Are you male? Also I will eat more. I'll go for the 1,500. That shouldn't be a problem. I'll try to get a little light exercise in. Maybe I'll invest in some lighter weights. I can give up some drinking. I'm also completely willing to accept .5 pounds per week. That's great advice. I'm very open to slow loss. I don't need…

Put yourself in my shoes. I'm new here. I've never had to diet/been on a diet in my life. I don't know the first thing about exercise. I have a lifestyle I like to live. I like to do it. Now imagine me coming here, asking a helpless question and getting a variety of helpful answers and one internet stranger telling me he…

I see. I can do that. Thank you!

@ Mity. If you're going to be antagonistic, I'm sure theres a lot more threads where you're welcome. I'm just asking for constructive criticism on making my goal and what I know I can sustain work for me. I don't want a whole revamp. I want to know that what I'm doing will make some difference and not just make me look…

I see. I'm terrified of exercise here. I'm out of shape, I sweat a LOT, and since i'm in Korea people go to the spas completely naked. Sometimes even younger people (like kids walk in). I can't deal with that. It's that dumb old high school cliche you see time and time again. I'm scared. If I eat more (and maybe drink…

I want to be able to drink and I want to lose 10-15 pounds of fat with minimal exercise. I know this sounds crazy but I just wanted to know if it was possible. I'm feeling very unmotivated right now. I feel like quitting altogether at this point..

What's the plan here - should I up my calories to 1,200? I'm still not that fond of exercising. I should but I'm just so body conscious in the gym. I also need my beer. Somethings gotta give I guess.
-
I see.. your cure to this would be to eat a little more? I'm not planning on staying on this for the long term. I'm probably finished in October with the blunt of it.
-
I don't need to lose a ton. Gaining muscle would be great too. However I'm a little fat. I got a bit of a belly, bit of boobs.. thats my biggest problem.
-
Whats wrong with this by the way? I'm just curious.

This was my last weeks total caloric intake 8/6: Wednesday 800 calories 8/7: Thursday 350 calories 8/8: Friday 1800 calories 8/9: Saturday 650 calories 8/10: Sunday 700 calories 8/11: Monday 850 calories 8/12: Tuesday 400 calories 8/13: Wednesday 1250 calories didn't drink saturday. Whew okay. I was worried. I try googling this and get both sides from a plethora of shady blogs that appear to be for profit.. trying to peddle wares and stuff on people. It's very predatory. Basically, my diet layout is this. MFP suggests I hit 1800 calories a day. It says I need 2,300 to live. I'm a 26 year old male, 180…

2 reasons: Get laid more (about 80% of my motivation) Go to the gym. I'm too self conscious about my body in the gym. I'm a skinnyfat male. My friend begs me to go all the time. He knows theres a reason why I won't go. I tell him I'm happy with my lifestyle. I'm not. I think for me, step 1 lies with just shedding my excess…

I'm a newbie here and I'm only on day 9 but so far this has been my first diet ever (only need to lose 15 pounds) so my advice may not be helpful. I started this because I realized I'm ashamed of myself. I look fine with my shirt on, but I can't take it off. It's been like this for years. It's been horrible. I can't…

Everything moderation! I plan on having a little fried chicken tonight because my diet is almost starvation mode (180 pound male with ~800 calories a day). I plan on eating around ~1,200 today. Is it unhealthy? Yes. I told myself I can have a little chicken if I eat a lot of vegetables with it. However for me, it's…

Rum and Diet Coke is actually a pretty decent drink. Although I never order it in public. It just screams insecurity I think.

I'm on about 1,000 calories a day for a bit now. I reward myself for my dedication with a Friday and Saturday night of drinking. It's not ideal weight loss, but sometimes you need inefficiencies to keep yourself from completely giving up. For me, not drinking would be a dealbreaker.

Sounds to me like a basic yo-yo. You obviously had the determination, you might have just overextended yourself. Take your time! It's not like if you lose 10 pounds in the month you're going to die!
