Sign me up for this month too! I enjoyed having something to keep me accountable last month.....even though I was a couple miles shy of my goal. My goal again will be 50 miles. It seems so small compared to everyone else's but I hope to be able to run 100+ miles someday!

Congratulations!!!! I have heard that it is a lot easier to lose baby weight when you don't gain too much and eat healthy throughout the pregnancy......I wouldn't know. I didn't do either of those things during my pregnancies lol. You should check with your doctor at your next appointment to see how much more you actually…

Ok, this week I ran 10 miles. I am 3 miles short of my goal. Hopefully next month I can make it all the way to 50! I am pretty happy with my progress though because just a few months ago I could barely run.

There is nothing wrong with taking those 3 days off from exercise. I bet you on your feet quit a bit those days. When I worked three 12 hour shifts I usually wouldn't work out those days. I worked overnight and I liked to just rest. Work real hard the other days! I now work 5 days but two of those days are only 6 hour…

lol, I know. I was just sharing something interesting I read, sorry. The whole brownie thing was just a joke. I'm not an idiot......usually lol. Sorry I came across as one.

Yeah it is. I think I read it in women's health or something. Your cravings are because of all the extra calories burned. That's why I don't deny myself what I crave lol. My body must know what it's doing "Alright, if you really think I NEED that brownie to survive I guess I'll HAVE to eat it"

I guess I haven't really heard that excuse all that much. I guess I don't usually ask people to explain to me why they aren't working out lol. I do know that there are many women that have HORRIBLE cramping from different conditions like endometriosis and such. ALso, some women bleed like crazy.....I imagine it is pretty…

Hi there! New to the thread here. I am still new to running and loving in. My goal is 50 for the month!

I don't know anything about compression socks for running, but am thinking this might be a good idea for me. I have some blood clotting conditions and have had a severe blood clot in my leg that caused permanent damage in those vessels. One of the reasons I am trying to be healthy is to make sure I never get a clot again.…

I know exactly what you mean! Mr arms and legs and face are smaller but I feel like my belly is the same. It almost seems as though it sticks out further because everything else is smaller. I hear that it will eventually get better. I hope it's true.....

Wow, you look great! Totally the inspiration I needed today. You are at my goal weight right now and we are about the same height. I can't wait to reach my goal!

Thanks for this! I have been running on my treadmill for a few months now and did a hilly run outside yesterday. It really depressed me how horrible I did. I hope in time I will experience the same thing he did.

I am going to have to agree with everyone else that it may be too early. I know how you feel. You can't wait to feel normal again and get rid of the evidence on your body that you had a baby lol. After my first C-section I started with just walking then after 8 weeks or so I did 30DS. If you feel any pain in your belly…

You look amazing! Exactly the motivation I needed for today. Thanks for posting!

Gerber snacks are really good. I love the sweet potato ones. I also love the little cookies too. I have 14 month old twins and I always end up eating more of there snacks than they do lol.

Hi there! I grew up in RI but now live in Northeastern CT. I grew up in East Providence. Where do live. I love it here on MFP! Both being from RI we probably know each other lol.

I have the same problem when I run outside. I have been doing so well on the treadmill and then suck when I am outside. It has scared me away from signing up for a 5k. I'd love to hear what people have to say about this.

My 3 year old loves doing DVDs with me. It's really cute to see her try to copy the moves. I've taken all three kids to a local track (3 year old, 14 month old twins) and walk/jog on the track with the twins in the stroller and have the 3 year old play in the field in the middle of the track. It kind of works......The…

I did night shift for years and at first I gained weight. I would stay awake for 30 hours 2 days a week. The extra awake time gave me extra eating time which wasn't good. I was going to school full time during the day and thats why I skipped sleep on the first overnight of the week and the last overnight of the week. Once…

This sounds like a great diet!

I am totally trying this tonight!

Well tonight I made a really healthy dinner. Baked cod with spinach and tomatoes....Then my daughter wanted to make a snack of her own. She spread tons of peanut butter on a flour tortilla and sprinkled it with Lucky Charms. Sounds weird but it was AWESOME. So much for my healthy dinner. Feeling guilty about it now

I'm in! I had a goal to be 155 by April 15th (My birthday), so this works out great! CW: 165lb GW (4/1): 157lb

Great job!!! The first thing I noticed was how awesome your legs are. Your hair is also beautiful. You did awesome!

Wow! Awesome! I am so happy I saw this post today. I am feeling a bit discouraged today after getting on the scale. Your stomach looks amazing. This really gives me hope for my belly. I wasn't going to take before pics but I am thinking I probably should. I got a new Jillian Michaels DVD and I can't wait to start it today!
