Ice skates on a treadmill would be inappropriate. I think you should switch to the elliptical.

Bear Bolton? Wow that is not sexy.

Lettuce doesn't have any real vitamins or nutrients. You're probably better off not eating at all. KIDDING!

Sara Lee makes a 45 calorie slice called "45 Calories and Delicious". It's pretty decent, but a bit smaller than a regular slice.

I tried deep fried butter at the county fair last year. It came with a side of chocolate covered bacon. They marketed it as "The Coronary Combo".

Check out www.vrbo.com (Vacation Rental By Owner) My husband and I have found some cute places to stay on there at reasonable prices. This place is only $89/night: http://www.vrbo.com/319524

Maybe substitute half or all of the water in your oatmeal for milk? You could also try taking a calcium supplement or multi-vitamin.

I buy Fage 0% (they sell the big containers at Costco for a decent price) and flavor it with sugar-free cherry jello powder. I also use it as a sour cream substitute.

Q: Why is corn the best vegetable?? A: Because it's the only one you can eat twice!!!

When you turn around because you think you hear someone behind you, but it is actually just your butt & thighs slapping together under your gym shorts. Gym shorts (that you stole from your 6' tall husband) that you're wearing not for working out, but because their elastic waist makes them one of the few pairs of bottoms…

Oh you are sooo not alone. I don't usually buy my trigger foods because I will fixate on them and binge until they are all in my belly. When I end up with delicious binge worthy foods in the house (like the delicious box of Fannie May pecan turtles my MIL sent for Christmas), I put them in the cabinet over the fridge, That…

I use it to make shredded chicken in the crockpot...just dump in 4 chicken breasts, a (rinsed and drained) can of low sodium black beans, half a bag of frozen corn, and pour a jar of salsa overtop. Cook 6-8 hrs on low and shred before serving. It's great on corn tortillas, topped with some fage 0% greek yogurt (my sour…

No this is not right at all. If you can run 3 miles in 16 minutes, that is awesome, but this is not the max time allowed. The USMC PFT is 3.1 miles, plus pull-ups and sit-ups. The max/min scores vary by age and sex, and you can enter your scores in here http://usmc.pftcalculator.com/ to figure out what your overall score…

Always check out store circulars for good sales. Buy store brands instead of name brands - it is usually the same stuff anyway. Compare prices per ounce - normally the largest size container is the cheapest (but sometimes smaller sizes can be less when they are on sale). Stock up on staples like bags of dry brown rice,…

Running, sit-ups, pull-ups....like someone else said, check out the USMC website. They have recommended workouts!

I have schnauzers, and they love to bark at everything that moves. Cars, people, dogs, leaves, each other, etc. Our dog trainer told us to carry a spray bottle of water. When they bark, I say "No" in a firm voice. If they bark again, they get a warning shot across the bow (I spray the water in front of them). Third bark,…

Broccoli: roast with bacon/olive oil/garlic or just steam and sprinkle with a teeny bit of Parmesan Asparagus: roast with lemon or grill with balsamic vinegar Carrots: I eat them raw. Can't stand them cooked. I buy the precut carrot chips because at least that way it feels more fun. Kale: drizzle with olive oil and…
