MFP's default protein setting is pretty low. Unless you have some sort of a medical condition, over on protein is good!

Low sodium lunchmeat! I try to keep my daily intake under 1500; my diary is open if you wanna sneak a peak

I was a horribly picky child. I don't know how my mother put up with me. Like a few others have said, try to get him involved in the cooking process. I remember one of my favorites as a kid was english muffin pizzas. You could buy whole wheat muffins, low fat mozzarella, tomato sauce, and a few healthy toppings (grilled…

I weigh daily but only record a loss if it's consistent for 3 days in a row.

There is no way you are 24%!! Those scales are notoriously unreliable. Plus, you look totally jacked and awesome  Try cutting your sodium and drinking more water. FDA says that the average person needs under 2300mg sodium a day. http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm181577.htm

I like mine with either canteloupe or strawberries!

Clementines are in season, and those are super sweet! 35cals, 1.5g fiber apiece

I hope your kitty feels better soon!!!

BUMP to all things pumpkin!!
-
Eat before I go so I'm not super hungry. Bring a veggie tray and munch on those. Drink lots of water. Only eat small portions of your absolute FAVORITE unheathy foods; don't waste cals on something you don't even really like.

I would always get chicken and broccoli, and ask for them to steam it and put the sauce on the side.

BUMP to all things pumpkin

Totally agree! Well said :drinker:

I feel like my chesticles are the only place I've lost weight from. Just the thought of downward facing dog scares me. After I have kids in a few years, and if I have the money, I would definitely consider getting some full C's (nothing too crazy). My sister-in-law just got fakes though and they look like deformed…

Do you track your sodium and water? If you've been eating high sodium, your body will retain water. Some people's bodies hold onto more than others. Also, try to weigh yourself at the same time every day, preferably in the morning. When you weigh in later, you are also weighing all of the food and water that is sitting in…

Fage fat-free greek yogurt!
-
I buy plain fat-free, usually the Fage brand. I flavor mine with sugar-free cherry jello powder and it is deeeelicious!

I bounce between 1200-1380. RIght now I'm at 1250. My diary is open, but feel free to friend me!!

I have binge eating tendencies, but being on MFP has helped me so much. I think it's the accountability of having an open diary. But the food thing is always there, lurking in the back of my mind. I can't buy candy or junk food, because I get completely fixated on it. Whether I'm walking the dogs, talking to my husband,…

I love candy corn; I can eat it until I'm sick. I always buy candy that I don't like (butterfingers - ew) so that I won't eat it all before the trick-or-treaters get here!
-
I cover my turkey in bacon and then roast it. Not only does it keep the meat moist, but it also helps appeal to picky eaters! Sooo not healthy though

I went to college with a girl named Precious Snow White.

One of my good friends did one for her hubby......she looked HOT and he looooved it!

I usually drink english breakfast tea with milk and truvia. I'm not a big coffee person, but I am currently in love with the pumpkin spice flavored k-cups.

I'm 5'3.5". My goal for now is 120, but I may change it to 115 once I get there. Feel free to add me!!!

I'm 5'3.5" - working on losing about 13 more lbs!

Cut up some fresh veggies - celery, baby carrots, green & red peppers, etc. If you like to dip, buy some hummus, but make sure you measure your servings! If you're not a hummus person, try mixing fat free greek yogurt (I prefer fage) with either dry hidden valley ranch mix, or lipton onion soup mix (depending on what you…
