Not sure why you'd want to avoid your traps, but would be willing to work your lats. You're just going to end up with an imbalance. Train your traps. You're not a dude, so you're not going to end up looking like one (if that's your worry)

If I recall, the smarty 'scientist' are now coming to find that the recommendation of 2300mg is actually too low, and the average adult needs ~3000mg. Apparently, too little sodium can actually cause worse problems than too much.

I think you might be spinning those wheels my friend. I started at the exact same weight as you, 123lbs, and have managed to gain 30lbs in a little over a year and a half, and only have a 29" waist. There hasn't been much fat gain to be honest, maybe 12/30lbs being fat. You need to start eating more. Don't even think about…

Eat 300 calories above your maintenance, and keep progressive resistance.

Some people on this site will randomly add you, and then get mad a week later when you haven't been 'liking' all their posts and commenting on their 3 daily pictures. Not only will they remove you, but they will send you a break up letter. Just another avenue for people to get their ego on.

Sorry, but I laughed. The answer is meat. Eat more meat.

This reminds me of when my cousin started working out, and totally "put on 20lbs of pure muscle in a month". The secret, at 6.

Required, no. Recommended, ohhhh yes. Even if you can't do them yet, just practice trying to pull yourself up the bar and eventually you'll get that first rep and you'll feel awesome. Pullups are definitely one of the strongest calisthenics upper body exercises.

Get some light weights ~5 lbs, do Zottman Curls. You're going to hear a lot of weird clicking and cracking, but it shouldn't be painful. These helped me recover immensely.

Pro Advice: Never eat a sugar. You'll get fat and wake up dead.

Your abs will start to disappear and you will panic, but then you'll notice how much better your arms, chest, shoulders and back look, and suddenly it's not all that bad. If you're not on the juice, you're usually looking at 50/50 muscle fat gain. If you're a brand new trainee, this can be a little more favorable on the…

Dark Souls 3 made me hollow :(

If I ate 17*weight+500 I would be fat as hell. You can't throw out blanket advice like that.

Dead hang feels terrible on the elbow joints, I don't think its 100% necessary. Get as close to a dead hang as you can, without actually dead hanging. Technically, not dead hanging will keep more tension on the muscles.

Sugar is love. Sugar is life.

I ate sugar once. I died. RIP

Not enough calories to be worth worrying about or trying to track.

Fluid loss from lack of exercise.

Generally you'll want to cut half of what you put on, as for most people weight gain is 50/50 if they are training hard without steroids. If it's your first bulk, you might not even have to cut that much off afterwards.

If you stick to whole foods your salt intake should be pretty low. If you need a boost, dill pickles are great.

They should have stopped after their 21 day fix.

Kellogs Bran Buds. 140 calories for 22g of fiber, it's actually kind of insane.

It's impossible to tell for nearly all types of physical activity. The closest you can get to accurate exercise readings is doing one cardio exercise for an extended period with a tracking device on that takes your weight and height into consideration. Best not logging exercise calories, and just consider them a mystery…

Unless they are cooking with some seriously heavy foods, while preparing them via sets and reps, no.

Sugar stole my job AND my wife! If only I had listened :( Seriously though, sugar is delicious.
